The Presenton Family Golf Course was sporting beautifully sunny weather when Elle showed up alongside Rosie in their golf attire. The pair of them looked completely outside their comfort zones as they watched elderly people of immense wealth strolling along the fields with golf boys running after them with golf clubs balanced on either shoulder.
Elle was dressed in a full black ensemble of a golf skirt and polo that she "borrowed" from Zoë. Naturally one of the sleeves was stained red with something Zoë said not to worry about. Elle believed it to be fake blood by the scent. Rosie decided not to ask how Elle knew fake blood from the smell as she carried her set of golf clubs in her bag.
While Elle ran off to rent some golf clubs, Rosie went in search of her friends, finding them in the clearing where the first set was waiting for them.
Olive stood with her red hair tied back in a braid in a white dress ensemble with a matching white vizor. She smiled when she saw Rosie, and waved her over happily.
"Just got here?" Rosie nodded.
"Yeah. Elle and I carpooled. She's off getting clubs now. How long have you been waiting?" Olive shrugged as she looked out onto the field.
"Not long. My daughter was against me using her golf clubs so I had to borrow Stephan's." Rosie looked down at the golf clubs that she now realized were a bit too big for Olive's small figure.
"I'm sure they will work out. Otherwise you can borrow mine. We are about the same height." Olive smiled but declined, saying "Harper was completely against the idea of using my husband's clubs so she's gone off to hopefully only rent a set for me. If she buys me a set, she's taking them home with her."
Rosie and Olive stood for a few moments longer pacing the course when they saw the most Harper thing ever appear over the grass.
Harper, who was clad in a mini pink skirt with a bright Ralph Lauren polo came racing down the course in a barbie pink golf kart, accompanied by Elle who sat wide-eyed, clutching her borrowed golf clubs for dear life.
Olive looked unfazed at the kart, obviously having seen it before, but Rosie was opened mouthed and laughing as she took in the sight. Harper stopped smack in front of them with a halt that moved the kart back and forth for a moment. Elle slowly got out of the kart and immediately started bad mouthing how she will never again go in such a monstrosity.
"And Rosie if I see one picture of this on your phone, I shall throw said phone into the pond!"
"Too bad I forgot my phone," Rosie muttered under her breath. Olive smiled as she waved her phone casually at Rosie.
"Thank goodness I did."
"Okay ladies, so welcome to our monthly get together!" Harper said with enthusiasm, making the three others glaze over.
"I thought golfing would be an excellent change in scenery for us, so I've decided to rent out the course for the afternoon."
"You mean this isn't your golf course? I was pretty sure this was going to be your land," Elle pointed out casually. Harper giggled and muttered an "Oh Elle," as if she thought her friend was joking. Rosie knew she was not but paid little attention to the scene as her eyes turned to a man bounding up the slops in a low v-neck shirt with navy blue long pants. His hair was jelled back and his dark eyes were ones you saw on a swim suit model. He stopped by Harper who gave him a quick hello before returning her attention to her friends. Elle, Rosie, and Olive were no longer paying attention to their blonde but rather on the eye candy who seemed to be cut from the same cloth as Harper as he too seemed used to the spot light.
