Lucy POV
Eleonora hated us after what we pulled in Austria.
She hated us so much that instead of spending her time looking at the art at the museum, she immediately called her driver, Lukas, to come pick her up. Oh and she would not let us into the car either.
That woman literally slammed the door on us and had her driver leave us on the street in the cold.
The only good thing that came about this was that upon walking back in the cold, the twins were able to dunk Tobie into the canal.
He was naturally confused, thinking that it was impossible to be bored after the day we experienced. If he knew us at all he would have figured that the twins, Jade and I would say anything to dunk the Austrian into the canal. It became the prime moment of our trip to watch Tobie screech in surprise before tumbling into the water by the working team of Ben and Sam.
The fun was short lived though. Once we were able to say goodbye to Tobie and schlep up the hill to the main house, we found that all the doors were locked.
"Did Eleonora actually lock us out? Is she that cold?" I asked the group after trying the back garden's door.
"Not as cold as I am right this moment, that's for sure.." Jade muttered to herself as she stomped away from the door and through the maze of bushes and snowed in statues.
"Maybe she will change her mind if we ditch Ben," I stated half-heartedly, thus earning a poison filled glare from Ben and a small smirk from Jade.
"No, that won't work. Our grandmother is too stubborn. Like mom," Sam said while looking up and down the wall by the left side of the house.
"Fuck. We'll never get back in. Unless any of us have dark chocolate.." Ben started.
"Or hard liquor," Jade added slyly.
"I think for your great-grandmother's sake we should assume that she likes wine, not hard liquor," I stated before nudging Jade. She shrugged. Sam did not seem to find the conversation amusing. Rather, his eyes were focused on a window that stood a little above my head.
"Sam. No." I muttered, causing his two siblings to turn to face him. Sam looked away from the window and at me with a questionable expression plastered on his face.
"I wasn't doing anything."
"Bullshit. You break that window, we get into even more trouble with Eleonora. Don't do it."
"Ooh good idea, Sammy," Ben said happily as he skipped up to him and wrapped an arm over his brother's shoulder.
Sam looked at Ben quizzically and shrugged his brother's arm off before saying "We are not bringing back that nickname."
"I found a brick."
I turned to see Jade no longer beside me but rather next to the left corner of the house holding what was most definitely a brick.
"You guys can't be serious.." I started.
"I knew you were good for something, Jade! Hand it over," Ben demanded with his same old happy go lucky voice that made Jade give a stiff shake of her head in his direction.
"Where'd you get the brick, Jade?" I asked, now starting to feel the weight of exhaustion from all the Landrith attention I was getting this week.
Jade paused and glanced at the building.
"This place is made of bricks."
"Yes Jade," I said exasperated, "But where.."
"I think she is trying to say that she managed to take a brick out of the wall," Sam said causally as he walked up to his sister and took the brick out of her hands and turned to face me.
