*Sam POV*

"Which way did they go?" Cody asked as he looked around the little mall of shops. Since Ben was still attending to the new puppy he won, Cody decided to join me as we walked through the line of shops. We had just passed the food stand and had yet to see them.

"Jade obviously knew we would cause trouble and ran off with the guy. I'm sure they are still here though. This place is as cold as her. She probably loves this." I stated as I ducked past a group of children in the middle of sharing a bag of deep fried oreos.

"Any idea where she would go?" He asked as he continued to try to scan the entire area. Although Cody was my uncle, he was now my height or even shorter and yet he still tried to act like he could see everything around him. But his height didn't matter when it came tot he fact that he had his familiar evil glint in his eye that showed he was asking for trouble. I had a feeling this night out would be fun after all.

"The fire breathing dragon. Where else would a pyromaniac go in a world of ice?" Cody nodded in agreement.

"To the fire breathing dragon!"

"Shouldn't we go back and fetch dad and Ben?" I asked, stopping my tracks to look back toward the puppy tent. I saw Dad in the middle of eating a large pretzel but having trouble dipping the pretzel in a small mustard cup. Ben was still holding the puppy like a baby and seemed to be cooing at it. That was my family. What the fuck is wrong with them?

Cody seemed to get the same vibe off of them as he looked back because he gave me a look that made it clear that those two would just slow us down.

"We'll do this ourselves. After all, we are the smartest of the family and can easily find a way get to Jade. Plus, when was the last time it was just you and me causing trouble?" Cody asked, as he pushed me along the path toward the sculptures of various types. I chuckled and walked in step with my uncle until we had reached the lane of ice dragons.

"I can't believe you two didn't do something to the guy when you first saw him on halloween," Cody stated oblivious to the various dragons around him. I was on the other hand looking at the dragons and the people. I was starting to wish Jade had gone the Aria route and damaged her hair enough times to be a walking highlighter. That would make finding her so much easier. We now had to walk through a crowd of people in their dark coats in search for a goth couple. We had almost no chance at finding them, especially with Jade in charge of staying out of sight.

"If it was me and I found out my sister Elle was going on a date with a guy that looked like Todd, I would have payed the guy a visit." Cody continued, drawing me out of my hunt for the pair.

"A Talk? You've lost your touch uncle. Most kids now a days egg each other's houses or go out paint balling for revenge. Not going out for a little chat. Do you have tea served while over there Uncle?" I asked, causing Cody to duck my head down in an affectionate way.

"Fine! I would have my friends join me for a talk."

"Wow. That made your plan that much scarier." I stated sarcastically causing Cody to glare in my direction.

"I tend to just go with the flow. I'm not really a "planning is everything" kind of guy like you are. Ben is more like me on the pranking except that he is an idiot. Like serious Sam, did your mother hit him over the head when he was little or..."

"Actually he fell down the stairs because Mom thought that once a baby could stand on their own legs, they can automatically walk down steps." Cody gave me a look that read "that's my sister for you" before continuing onward.

"How come she didn't do that to Ivy?" I shrugged.

"That was when we lived over at grandma's house and when both mom and dad were always at the studio so grandma taught Ivy. Make's sense doesn't it?" Cody nodded.
