Three Years Later

*Olive POV*

"Stephan I'm leaving for the studio with Bella. Have fun with Charlie." I said, aloud as I headed for the door. Little Bella was following me in her green rain coat wrapped around her little four year old self with her ballet bag in her hand. I heard footsteps from upstairs that made known to all that Stephan was awake.

Leaving the house at 9:30 am, we were at the studio at 9:43 am giving me enough time to check sound scores, call the painters about the loft and how I didn't want neon green paint but rather evergreen green instead. By the time I had finished the call it was 10:15. The pre-ballet class started at 10:30.

My studio was situated near Spear Head Park. At first I didn't want the building since it only had two rooms that could be turned into studios. And of course the process to change these rooms into class rooms would cost so much money but Stephen kept saying that it would work out in the end.

"And plus, so many kids play around in Spear Head that I am sure if you placed a board outside announcing your new studio, mothers would be interested." He said reassuringly.

It turned out to be true. Only a week of open business and I had already found multiple students of different ages who were willing to join the studio. By last Friday I had a number of 32 students in total that were signed into the studio and that was not counting the girls whose mothers and fathers were still thinking about joining from the open house I had that Wednesday. After having the complete number of girls checked on Saturday I started finding a uniform for each class.

I decided on lavender leotards for the pre ballet girls and blue leotards for ballet classes 1-3. For ballet girls classes 4-6 I was unsure about. I decided to call Rosie about what uniform color was to be decided. She said to go with Navy Blue since the pre-pro girls would wear the classic black leo's and white leo's depending on the day.

It didn't take that long for Elle to hear what I was doing so she obviously called later saying I should just go with black for every single year. I replied saying I would add a year for girls to wear pink leotards. She ended the call after that.

After planning leotards and class schedules I was set for the day. Walking out of my office I entered the large studio where I saw Bella running about in her lavender leotard with her dance shoes in her hands. Bella was all for going to ballet class. I had started training her last year just by making her do simple things such as touching her feet without bending her legs or starting on her splits.

I turned to the door, exiting the bigger studio and entering the main hallway. A few mothers I barely knew were already there with their kids.

"Oh yes you can bring Justine and Eddie in here." I said motioning toward the smaller studio. The two mothers took their kids into the room while I quickly ran back into the big studio and brought Bella out with me where Justine and Eddie stood.

"Is there any way I can sit and watch this class? I want to make sure Eddie is alright here since he seems to be the only boy dancing here today." Eddie's mother asked rather snipingly. Eddie's mother was a woman with thin black hair tied into a tight ponytail. Her eyes were a grey shade that only deluded her light skin. It was these types of mothers that I really did not like about teaching young children. The mothers always wanted to get involved. And the problem with having moms in the room was that their kids never paid attention with the class since they were constantly watching their moms. With this in mind, I smiled simply to the mother and declined saying not to worry and that three more boys were coming in today.

Since I was the studio head, the mother decided to say nothing to me now, but she didn't smile as she left the studio. She only kissed her son on the head and walked out. Eddie actually smiled when he saw his mom leave.
