*Ben POV*

On normal mornings I am normally awoken by my brother tossing whatever is within throwing distance at me. I would then respond with ducking under the covers saying a large range of profanities until he would leave me alone for a short while longer. Then when I feel up to it, I would get up, slowly, and make my way down stairs to eat and do whatever I am forced to do in the morning to look better physically than my brother. Since we are already very similar physically, some days can be a struggle to really show off my extra charm but in the end, I manage.

But today was different than normal days which was strange for me to figure out seeing as the day was Wednesday and I was very sure that school was still scheduled for the day. Unless some distant relative of mine decided to blow the school up, I expected to be woken by one of Sam's flying shoes. But no, today I woke up on my own schedule which meant I woke up past ten o'clock. The first thing I did as I slowly sat up in bed was turn to my brother's bed to see if he too had slept through his imaginary alarm. I found him in bed, but as usual, he was up before me and already was sitting up in bed, his hair wet from a shower taken God knows how long ago. He already had his jeans on and seemed too busy on his computer at present to think about putting on a fucking shirt.

"Nice fake abs brother of mine." I muttered sleepily as I rolled up to a sitting position in bed. Sam did not even move to face me but rather gave me a finger from his right hand in response.

Love you too.

"Why aren't we at school? Did Jade do something?" I asked, rubbing my eyes before turning back to see Sam giving me a mildly exasperated expression.

"Why don't you look out the window and find your answer there, stupid." Just like I did as a kid, I rolled off my bed and swung the curtains aside to see a layer of while fluffy snow littering the lawn. In clomps, more snow came lazily down from the clouds making me giggle with excitement only to cause Sam to gag and turn to look my way again.

"Your girl persona making an appearance today, Bennie Boy?" He asked with his usual tone of amusement. I pulled back the curtains all the way and let them stay there as I moved back to my bed, drawing out my own laptop to see what the word was from those in town.

"No need to check Ben, school's out thanks to the weather. We have this day to ourselves." I made another noise of glee before slamming my laptop shut and hopping off my bed toward the bathroom, only to gain another side long glance from Sam from his laptop.

"Stop judging me, Sammie. Let me accept my inner Elsa."

"I'm going to pretend I never heard that and remind you that Jade, Mom and Dad are also staying home due to weather." Sam's authoritative voice stated in a warning tone. I groaned and glared at the mirror where I was presently brushing my teeth.

After getting changed into something that put me a whole league higher than my brother and once my brother put on his god damn shirt, both Sam and I started from the stairs when a commotion was heard from Jade's bedroom.

"God Damn it! What the Fuck goes with this? And where's that shoe? Fuck!"

The sound of an object, most likely a shoe, being tossed at a wall was heard followed by the sounds of more cursing coming from our baby sisters mouth caused both me and Sam to exchange questionable looks.

I took a step toward her door only to make Sam grab my hood from my coat and shake his head frantically.

"Don't get involved idiot."

Seeing his point, I started back toward the stairs with him but unfortunately by some sort of magic, Jade decided to open her door to face us. We both froze in fright over what we saw.
