*Lucy POV*

"Alright everyone! Break is over. Time to get rid of that thanksgiving turkey fat! Everyone in the center, we are doing adagio."

"Why don't you just kill me first." Alice muttered to herself, only loud enough for both Jade and me to hear. I smirked as I placed my feet in fifth and waited for the music to begin.

"If you wish for your murder so badly all you had to do was ask. I know people." Jade commented as she too got herself into position. Alice looked over at Jade who was waiting with an innocent glance in the mirror for the music.

"I'm sorry did I just hear the word murder?" Todd's voice pipped up from behind us. Alice rolled her eyes up to the ceiling while Jade and I just snickered to ourselves.

The music started and we all started our first develope to the front.

"You are not invited in our class chat, Todd." Alice muttered. This only made Todd roll his eyes, seen from the mirror making me have a hard time to concentrate on my balance as I lifted up my self up on pointe.

"I didn't realize their was a rule on who can discuss the topic of murder during dance class." Todd replied quietly. Bianca who stood next to me with her leg an inch or so above mine was glancing over at us from the mirror with a confused expression on her face.

"Bianca, relax your features and watch your hip as your move the leg to the back. Good! You got it. Todd what are you doing?"

Todd quickly readjusted while Alice smirked again as she effortlessly moved her leg to the back before moving back to a passe.

"I'm sorry, is something funny Alice?" Ms. Olive asked from the front of the room. Alice quickly dropped the smile while Todd and I exchanged glances of amusement.

The rest of the center work continued like this. Every other moment was spent sending snide comments to one another until the other was called off by Ms. Olivia. It got so bad at one point that Bianca, who definitely listening to us all, lost her balance during one of our extensions causing her drop everything and go red before resuming her past exercise. Ms. Olivia was not happy.

"Alright. That's enough. We need to start rehearsal and the rest of the school is waiting outside the room. So why don't you all start up for the battle scene. Todd we are working with all the mice today so stretch for jumps please." Todd gave a small nod but was not really paying attention.

*Jade POV*

"Hey Jade?"
I turned to glare up at him from where I sat changing my flat shoes to pointe.
"What do you want?" I asked, although I already knew what he was going to ask.
"Is your phone dead?"
"Yes."
"Really?" He turned to Alice who was a little ways a way at the barre with Lucy; both of which were stretching up into their front splits.

"Alice! I have a question!" Alice, who was moments before talking to Lucy, turned her head to face Todd with one of her bitchest glares to date.

"Go to Hell." Todd sighed and muttered something like "fine" before looking over at Lucy who was watching the Alice and Todd show down with some amusement.

"Lucy, Can you answer my question?" Unlike Alice, Lucy actually smiled over at Todd.

"I'm called Lucifer for a reason. Welcome to my domain. What do you want Todd?"

"Why don't, instead of yelling across my studio, Todd walk over to the girls at the barre and have a normal conversation instead of an open mic talk for the entire school to hear." Ms. Olive called out as she walked into the studio followed by a swarm of younger dancers. '
