Why Love When Its Hopeless?

Chapter 3.

~~~The Ellen Show at that moment~~ {No Ones POV}

As Ellen walked in, the crowd went crazy. Once she sat down in her red chair, everyone calmed down. "How is everybody doing today?" She looking out into the audience. They all clapped and cheered. She smiled and grabbed one of her blue cards, and put on her reading glasses. "Today we have a really special surprise. There is a 19 year old girl, today is her birthday. And her story, is very breath-taking. " Ellen takes off her glasses and looks at the crowd, "And here is a video she sent in a couple months ago." The video starts playing,

Shelby popped up on the screen,

"Hey Ellen!! I'm Shelby Miller and I live in Atlanta with my mom, well sort of. My mom works 24.7 around the US and I never really get to see her, so I pretty much live by myself. And it does get lonely here."

Shelby cleared her throat, and tucked a piece of hair behind her ear before continuing.

"Anyway I have one older sibling and that's my sister, Kierstin, who lives in our home town in Canada, she goes to college there. So all I can do is video chat her. And I miss her."

A small tear slips down Shelby's cheek but she wipes it away really quickly.

"I really look up to you and someone really special." She says as he walks into her Bieber Filled room, "I also look up to Justin. He saved my life. You see, my sister found out she got accepted in college back home the same time my mom was sent to the US for work. When we moved, I was upset because for he lose of see my sister very much, but when my mom told me she'd be traveling and I had to stay home, I lost it. I didn't want to be alone. I didn't have a boyfriend, because the last one I had was terrible. Which I don't think I can get though that story without wanting to end this video."

Most tears slipped from Shelby's eyes, she didn't bother wiping them away this time.

"When I lost it, I almost killed myself.. But then thoughts of my family, of Justin, came into mind, and I didn't do it. What if I finally meet him, what if I finally saw him in concert? So I didn't do it, but I felt as if I needed a way to cope..." She shows her hundreds of scares. "I try to stop but it's hard. Anyways...enough of that."

"Oh! I gotta go to school. I really love you Ellen, and Justin, if he ever sees this. Bye!!"

~~End of Video~~

Ellen wipes off her tears, that weren't fake. "Ok.. I hadn't seen the video until now. Wow." She puts her tissue away, "The awesome thing is that she doesn't know is Justin is indeed here." Justin comes out looking all "swaggy", wearing a jean jacket over a white tee, and black skinny jeans with supras. He hugs Ellen and waves to the audience before sitting down in the guest chair.

"So, Justin, What do you think of that video?" Ellen asked.

"To be honest Ellen, I had tears." He said as a picture of him backstage crying popped up on the screen. He was sitting on the couch, staring up the the T.V. His eye s bit red from tears coming to his eyes. "I don't like my Beliebers hurting themselves. It hurts me. And I can tell Shelby is really special. She has obviously been through a lot." Justin said looking at Ellen with serious eyes, also filled with sadness.

The crowd clapped and cheered. Justin blushed and looked down, before looking right back up with a shy smile.

Ellen giggled, "Haha well, what she doesn't know that we have Jeannie right outside her door. Justin why don't you go backstage and somebody will have you come out." said Ellen as she tapped Justin's knee. Justin smiled and hopped up, saluted the audience with two fingers as he left backstage.

After he left backstage Jeannie appeared on the big screen behind Ellen. It showed Jeannie walking up to Shelby's door.

"Alright, I'm here at Shelby Miller's house. She has no idea we are here, here we go!" Jeannie whispered excitedly as she walked up the two steps to the door. She looked at the camera and smiled her joyful, excited smile, and knocked on the door a couple times.
