A/N; This is a long one! Sorry, I'm just trying to straighten this puppy up for you future readers! Bare with me, please. :)

~Justin's POV~

After Shelby finished telling me what had happened and reading that letter, I was shocked. Eddie must have really loved her. But to kill himself to not hurt her again? Something tells me he was just insane.

I'm not trying to be mean or rude, I mean, it's really sad that it happened, but who would do that? He must have truly loved her, but I just don't get why he cheated on her if her loved her like that.

We both sat in silence. I thought I had heard Shel say something, probably more to herself than to me, but I was curious.

"What?" I asked in a sort of hushed tone. She looked at me with tears filling her eyes.

"It's all my fault that Eddie killed himself." She said, with more tears filling in. She looked down at the floor, being quiet again.

"Shelby, it's not your fault. You didn't know he was ever thinking about it, let alone really doing it. You didn't know. Don't blame yourself for something you were not capable of stopping."I said getting off the bed and crouching down in front of her, looking up at her in a way. I noticed and tear on the floor, and some on her cheeks. I tried to look into her eyes, but being the stubborn girl she is, she closed her eyes, bowing her head down a little.

"Shelby." I whispered, trying to get her attention but she didn't budge. I wiped away her tears that left her eyes when she had closed her eyes. I gently rubbed her cheek with my thumb trying to comfort her. "Look at me please." I whispered, moving a little more closer to her.

After a couple seconds, she opened her eyes, blinking several times. I smiled a small smile, and when I saw some tears slip I instantly wiped away.

"Please don't blame yourself for that. You didn't know. There was no way you could have known he was planning this before that letter. Please stop crying." I begged. I don't want her to feel guilty for something she couldn't have had control over. I don't like seeing beautiful girls like her cry.

I know I just called her beautiful, but I'm not going to deny it anymore. It's what I think about her. I care for her and I don't want her living with this guilt. Even though she has obviously been like this ever since it happened, I'm about to change that. No matter how stubborn she can be.

She looked at me, when a tiny smile crept on her face.

"Okay." She whispered her voice a little horse. I smiled at her.

"Good." I said. Something in me wanted to lay my lips on her pink ones, but I can't. Selena. So I played it off by kissing her forehead. I stood up and walked over to her light switch. The overhead light turned on, setting more light into the room. I walked over to her desk and looked at what was laying on top.

"What are you doing?" Shelby asked, sniffing a little afterward. I could tell she was calming down.

"Looking at your stuff." I said walking over to her dresser. I heard the bed squeak behind me, meaning Shelby had gotten off the bed.

"Have fun. I am a pretty boring person." She laughed. I smiled and chuckled at her.

I saw a picture frame in the corner of her top dresser. I picked it up and looked at the two little girls in the middle. I knew it was Kierstin and Shelby. I could tell which is which by their expressions, and the looks of course. Kierstin had an arm draped on Shelby's shoulders. Kierstin was sticking her tongue out at the camera, while Shelby held her hands intertwined in front of her smiling brightly at the camera. Behind them was a beach. They each wore swimsuits, Shelby's was pink, while Kierstin's was purple. The sun shone perfectly in the picture.
