Why Love When Its Hopeless?

Chapter 7.

~~Shelby's POV~~

Justin and I had a very tense, funny, and loving conversation. I found out Justin is dating Selena Gomez, it didn't surprise me though. I wasn't stressing over it, as long as he is as happy.

I was now in the audience, Justin and Ellen were talking, I was smiling widely and I couldn't stop smiling. Ellen started to talk about Selena which made Justin blushed when a picture of Justin and her was on the big screen. I giggled when I saw him smile and look down. Justin looked up and looked at me smiling and then back at Ellen. Everyone was giggled, and some girls were fangirling in the corner. I was fangirling too, but I tried not to make it noticeable. I covered my face and giggled, blushing from how adorable he was being.

Justin somehow changed the subject. After about 10 minutes of listening to Justin and Ellen talking. Ellen brought out a toy. Justin and Ellen were playing with them. It was a rubber cow, with a opening where the mouth is. Justin put a small green ball into the mouth, and squeezed the cow. I smiled and saw that he was aiming it at me. He got up and walked over to me,

"Justin? What are you doing?" I asked with a smile on my face. He squeezed the cow and the ball came out and hit my arm and landed into my lap. Justin and I laughed, I was so happy to see his smile. Ellen called Justin over to the seat cause they were still on air. I giggled. Ellen asked a couple more questions, Justin kept looking over at me still giggling. He smiled at me and looked back at Ellen.

The show finally ended with Justin and Ellen dancing in the audience. Justin came up to me and held out his hand and I took it with no hesitation. Justin twirled me around, I laughed and continued to dance with Justin. Someone yelled cut, which caught our attention. We were both laughing.

"Wait for me in the dressing room, I'm gonna go see everyone else." Justin said to me letting go of my hands.

"Ok" I said. I looked around for my family but I didn't see them. 'They already left?' I thought. I sighed and started to walk back to the dressing room. I kinda got lost a bit but I finally found my way back to the dressing room where me and Justin talked in before. I walked in and no one was in there. I sighed and sat down on the couch. I took out my phone and saw that I had a text from an unknown number. I opened it and it read,

"Hey Shelby! It's Justin. I trust you with my number, Kenny will come and get you to take you home. Sorry I couldn't take you home myself."

I smiled, yet sighed. I texted back,

"It's fine. I'm glad that you trust me :) At least I can still talk to you"

I sighed and waited for Kenny to come and get me. I really wish I could hang out with Justin more. He is so comforting, sweet and loving. He makes me smile no matter what. I guess that I will just have to text him, but as much as to bother him. Wait...

What if I do bother him too much and he just ignores me? What if he doesn't want to be my friend anymore and just forgets about me on tour? A tear slipped down my cheek at the thought of it. I heard a knock on the door and I quickly wiped it away and sniffed.

"Come in." I said and saw Kenny walk in with that big smile of his.

"You ready?" He asked opening the door all the way. I nodded my head getting up.

"Yeah lets go" I said clearing my throat.

"You ok?" He asked shutting the door behind me.

"Uh- Yea I'm fine." I said stuttering a bit. He didn't reply. We walked out of the studio and he lead me to a black van. He opened the door for me, I climbed in thanking him afterward. He nodded his head and shut the door climbing in the drivers seat. He drove off after we both put on our seat belts. After about a 15 minute of a quiet drive, we finally arrived at my house.

"Thanks again Kenny" I said smiling at him.

"No problem. I hope to seen you soon" He said smiling.

"Me too, bye, Kenny" I said as I climbed out of the van and shut the door. I walked up the steps, and looked back and saw Kenny waving. I waved back and turned the key and opened the door to see all of the lights were off.
