Why Love When Its Hopeless?

Chapter 8.

~Justin's POV~

After I met some fans, Shelby's sister came up to me with a smile. She was hot, but honestly not as hot as Shelby is. Wait! Why did I just say that? I'm dating Selena. I shook my head and walked to Kierstin.

"Hey Justin! How would you like to surprise Shelby again? If your not busy." Kierstin said with a huge grin.

"Hold on let me ask Scooter." I told her, and held up my pointer finger, and turned to find Scooter walking his way towards me. "Hey Scooter are we busy for the rest of the day?" I asked once he got to me.

"Nope. We are leaving Atlanta Monday." He said. I nodded, and turned back to Kierstin.

"So what do ya say?" she asked with a grin.

I smiled, "So whats the plan?" I asked. After about 5 minutes of Kierstin telling me the plan, which was perfect. I texted Shelby, I had gotten her number from Kierstin, and Kenny since he was on it too. Kierstin took me over to their house, which was already decorated with party stuff. I smiled.

"Alright where do I go again?" I asked, forgetting where I went. She pointed to a big purple box. I laughed, and walked over to it. It was big enough for me to get in and sit down. I just sat there with the lid open so that way I wouldn't be stuck in here for a long time. I felt my phone buzz. It was Shelby.

"It's fine. I'm glad that you trust me :) At least I can still talk to you"

I smiled and put my phone in my pocket. I then heard the door shut.
After about a little bit longer, Kierstin came running in,  "Quick! Put the lid on!"

I quickly put the lid on and I sat there in darkness listening to everything that was going to happen.

~Shelby's POV~

I saw that the lights were out, so I turned them on, and my mom and Kierstin both popped out and yelled, "HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHELBY!!" I laughed and walked in all the way.

"Aww really? You guys are the best." I said hugging them both. I looked around the house and saw a Justin cake, Justin napkins, balloons, and cups. I giggled. "What is this a, Bieber Birthday Party?" I asked giggling.

"You can say that" My mom said laughing along with me.

"Ok so lets open the presents!" Kierstin said, walking over to a big purple box.

"Whoa was is in it?" I asked, wiggling the box, but it was heavy.

"Open it" Kierstin said excitedly. I took a deep breath and opened the lid. Once I removed it Justin popped out like a jack-Ina-box. I screamed and smiled at him.

"Oh my gosh I thought I wouldn't see you again!" I exclaimed hugging him. He hugged me back. I let go and smiled at him. "This is the best birthday ever" I said looking at my loved ones. I looked at Justin, "Thank you for everything."
