"That's the problem Liam, I don't know what I want us to be.I don't know anything about you, from that I can't even see us being friends."

"Can we at least try?"

"Fine but as of right now we can only hang out in groups and we'll forget about us having sex."

They returned to the group, sitting next to each other."Where did you guys go?"Noel asked as he took a bite of his pancakes.

"We went to the bathroom."Niall lied, beginning to eat his lukewarm food.

Everyone nodded, dismissing whatever they said and began to talk within the group.

After finishing their meal, Niall gave Zayn the side eye.Hoping he would get the message and part their way away  the other three but Zayn didn't even notice as he still talked.

"Do you guys want to go buy some clothes or shop around?"

"Um no"Harry said"We just came into town to eat and I have to take Louis home.Maybe another time."

"Alright man, see you on Monday."Zayn gave all of his friends a 'bro' hug as so did Noel yet Niall just waved awkwardly.

"Hope to see you around, Niall."Louis smile as the three walked away.

The shopping day was over, Niall had bought a new pair of jeans and a sweater, riding in the back now, Zayn turned down the music as he stared at Niall through the rear view mirror.

"So, what happened between you and Liam?"

"What?"Niall snapped his head, turning to look at Zayn.

"I was just asking because y'all left together."

The blond laughed nervously,"Nothing, I had to go pee and so did he."

"I was kidding, Niall chill.Whats up with you?"

"Well"Noel started"You could tell Niall didn't want to talk to them but you invited them so Niall has some type of problem with out of them."

"No I don't."Again his nervous laughter escaped his mouth."I just didn't know them so I didn't want to talk that much."

Zayn nodded, continuing to drive.

Liam laid on Harry's couch, they had began watching  a random movie on Netflix.Liam's head hurt a bit from the slight hangover but a smile still sketched on to his face.

"So Liam, about yesterday..."Louis trailed off.

"What about it?"

"You told us about Niall and how you were catching feelings."

Liam awkwardly laughed, hoping his friends didn't mean it."Me? No I don't catch feelings."

"I told you about being friends with him and trying to be friends to make him trust you."Louis playfully scoffed.

"Fuck "Liam said under his breath, "I probably was too drunk,you know I don't ever catch feelings."

Monday

Niall anxiously waited for Zayn to swing by and pick him up.Honestly, he thought about Liam for the past day and he realized, he didn't know anything about Liam.

All Niall knew was that Liam played football with Zayn and Noel and he had science with his friend.

Niall was dressed in light wash jeans and a blue, red and black flannel along with black and white converse.As he got the text he always did, Niall waved goodbye to his parents as he went out the front door.

"Morning."Niall smiled, hoping into the back seat.Both of his friends groggily nodded, acknowledging his presents between their half asleep daze."What time did y'all fall asleep?"

"Three"

"I haven't slept yet."

"You guys are horrible, I can't."Niall laughed, noticing they were almost there.

"I stayed up to finish my portfolio, I'm trying to get into a college in the states."Noel smiled.

"Aw, why?"Niall pouted.

"I don't know, I feel like it would be cool."

"What about you Niall, what are you planning?"

"Um I'll probably go to a local college and then go to law school."Niall shrugged.

"That's way better than my plan"Noel laughed"I want to be a teacher or something, I'm not sure."

"That's good, though"

"Enough, I'm over school and we aren't even half way done with senior year.Lets just chill about this."Zayn's voice showed signs of irritation and sleepiness."What you guys do yesterday?"

They walked side by side as they entered the gray painted fence."I went out to eat with my parents and went with my mom shopping."Niall shrugged.

"Me and Jasmin hung out for a while at her house."Noel answered, getting a suggestive glance from his friends.

Zayn wiggled his eyebrow and then looked away."Sure fam."

"I swear!"Noel's lips curled into an embarrassed smirk."We just chilled and worked on science."

Niall hummed, sounding unconvinced as the loud sound of the bell was heard throughout the campus.Noel and Zayn walked Niall to class as they went to their first class.

It was lunch time, normally the group would go out and eat but since Zayn was taking a test, Noel and Niall didn't have a ride.So they lined up to grab whatever they were serving for the day.

"Hey"Harry turned to face Niall and Noel, hearing them talking.

"Oh hi."Niall smiled, glancing around to find Liam but saw he was already seated at a near by table.

"Where's Zayn?"

"He's in Ms.Derna, taking a Spanish test."

Harry nodded"You should come sit with us."

Niall looked up at Noel, giving him the choice."Sure, let us just get food and well met you there."

"Alright."Harry walked away, leaving them to start talking about something else.

Liam saw Niall walk over to the table, walking besides his friend."Glad you an join us."Louis spoke.

"Hey."Niall waved, sitting on a bench that was close to Liam, Noel sitting next to Niall.

"Hey."Liam smiled,"How you've been?"

"Good, good.You?"Niall didn't know how to talk to Liam at all.

The other three began talk about football, leaving Niall and Liam to form somewhat of a friendship.

"You went to J.V middle school?"Liam asked, confirming they went to the same middle school."What about elementary?"

"Citrus.You?"

"Same, how come we've never met?"

"I don't know, I've never talk to you before now.Thats crazy."

"I know we could have been friends way before."They both laughed.
