Liam sighed, he was in a relationship now.Ever since last night, he ran this mistake in his head.He promised never to love or sought after anyone romantically.He broke it and now it was like he was a different person.A person who wasn't himself.

Currently he was walking with Harry, they were walking to school since Liam's dad had to take his car to get it fixed.

"How's your dad doing?"Harry asked, sadly.

"He's fine, he knows what today is but he decided not to comment on it."Liam shrugged."I found his playing with his ring this morning."

Harry nodded,"I heard from Louis that you and Niall are a thing now."

"Louis is wrong, me and Niall are just fucking."Liam said harshly, causing Harry to flinch."I'm sorry, it just you know I don't-"

"Yeah, yeah.You don't do romantic stuff."

Niall giggled as he walked besides Aaron, they had just spoken about how him and Liam got together.

"Should I be jealous or?"Aaron teased.

"Act like you are but not too much."Niall winked, hearing the bell ring in the background.

They started walking to their destination,"So"Aaron started,"Does this mean I can date Lexi, now?"

"Yeah because it's not confusing seeing you act all coupley with me but make out with a girl.I think Noel and Zayn would castrate you."Niall laughed, causing Aaron to flinch and hold his crotch.

"That's unfair, you get to cheat on me but I can't."Aaron pouted.

"Deal with it babe!"Niall giggled, kissing his cheek before running off.

Aaron shook his head, seeing Liam walk slowly down the hall.Glaring at him profusely until he threw his breakfast on the floor and walked out.

His dark eyes followed him before he shrugged.Aaron began walking to his classroom without a second thought.

Liam's dad walked into his son's room,"Hey Liam, Jo invited me to have drinks with the guys.You'll be okay alone?"

"As long as you bring me some."Liam grinned.

"In your dreams, bud."His dad playfully rolled his eyes.

Liam shook his head, watching his dad exit the house.After the engine noise fading away, he quickly called over his boyfriend.Cringing at the thought of it all.

Not waiting for a conformation, Liam got in the shower and began to get ready.An hour or so later, Niall grinned as he knocked on the door.

Liam swung open the door, his hair still wet as he was dressed in his normal all black attire.He pressed Niall's back to the door, his boyfriend looking up at him with fearful eyes.

"Who is he?"Liam said lowly, his hand resting on above Niall's head.

"W-who?"Niall asked, cluelessly.

"That boy you kissed ."

"His name is Aaron, he's my fake b-boyfriend."Niall responded,"I know Noel and Zayn won't be too warm to the idea of-"

"I can't do this,"Liam backed away.

"If it bothers you, we can just tell -"

"No I can't do this,"Liam pointed between them ."If this is how it's gonna start off, if you care more about what others think I'm not-"

"It doesn't bother me."

"It bothered you so much, that you had to lie!"

"You knew how it was gonna be, this isn't the problem."

"I promised,"Liam stopped himself, turning his back as he shook his head.Niall timidly raised his hand, grasping Liam's shoulder.He instantly calmed down until he tensed  once again.

Liam contradicted all his feelings about wanting Niall, wanting him to be his boyfriend.Niall started off,"Liam, what's wrong?"

He shook his head, turning around ."I can't, I can-"

"I get it!"Niall yelled, frustrated"Why can't you? Just give me your reason and I'll leave you alone if that's what you want!"

Liam sighed,"My dad owns a company, a huge company.He was married to my mother at the time, she only wanted his money.When she had me, a few years later she took the chance to run away with half of its earnings.He trusted her, she used him, it's been a decade and he still misses her.She broke his heart and I'm left here as a broken memory of what they used to be."

"I'm -"

"What sorry?"Liam scoffed,"It's embarrassing knowing that I'm afraid of commitment, the example of love that I was taught was different from yours."

"When I was five,"Niall began"My dad cheated on my mom, my mom cried and cried.She attempted suicide on the day of their wedding day.A few years later, she took him back.Now I have to live with him, a man who broke my moms heart and broke our family.So no, Liam.I don't know your perception of love but I do know that I'm putting my feelings out for you despite my past.And if you can't do the same, then I'll forget this ever happen."Niall finished.

Liam looked at his lap,"Can I get time to trust you?"

"I'll wait but trust me, Liam.I can't wait forever, I'm young.I'm not spending my senior year waiting around for you to return the feelings."

Without another word, Niall got up.He walked to the door, turning back to seeing Liam staring at him sadly, hoping for him not to go.

But Niall asked himself, Do I really need this? How did I fall for a boy who can't return it back?Am I really going to spend my time waiting?How did I do this to myself?

All these questions raced through his mind as he opened the door."Wait!"Niall turned around, looking at him expectantly."I've been telling myself this since I was seven, can you give me a day to-"

Niall nodded, biting his lower lip.Exiting out,leaving Liam.Liam was frustrated, he was scared that his feelings are getting in the way of how he trained himself to think.

Now he was sitting there, contemplating whether to throw his feelings in Niall's way, trusting a guy he barely met with his feelings and hoping he won't use him.
