September: the start of college
Over the summer, Liam's dad had offered to buy Liam a small apartment in the city, similar to what his own father had done when he was starting law school.Liam had greatly accepted, acknowledging that he had to work in order to pay the bills while his father paid for the place.

Once moved in, Liam invited his boyfriend over, laying in the small bedroom with his mattress on the floor."I like the place."Niall said , looking at the walls they had painted a few days ago.

"I would like it with you in it."Liam grinned, wrapping his arm around his boyfriend.

"Who would have thought, Liam Payne would actually be the one to want to take the relationship further,"Niall smiled, looking at his boyfriend who's smile faltered.

"Is that a no?"Liam replied , his grip loosening on his boyfriends hip.

"Of course I want to!I love you and you're my boyfriend , I wouldn't want to live with anyone else but you."Niall giggled , kissing Liam's nose.

Liam smiled,"Really?I know it's not as big as what you're use to-"

"But it's perfect."

Half way through the quarter (idk but England but most colleges I know separate the year into quarters)

Niall walked into the apartment , the door was already partly open, he shrugged it off, thinking Liam had just forgotten to close it all the way.They have lived together for almost three months.He didn't think it was possible but in those three months him and b had grown unbelievably closer, not a day went by where Liam didn't make Niall feel incredibly loved.

The slight pound into the wall made Niall jump in fright, almost dropping the bags of groceries he had in his hands.He had stopped on his way back from class for a few groceries.He walked slowly on his way to the bedroom, seeing it cracked open a little bit.

Niall's eyes widen and heart dropped as he saw the love of his life, Liam, naked.All Niall could focus on was the blonde girl who rode him fastly, seeing her whole body jiggle at the pace they were going in order to reach their climax.He swung the door open, tears brimming his eyes.Liam looked up, throwing the girl off him,"Niall..."He stopped not knowing what to say.

"Don't,"He stared at the girl, burning holes into her skin , anger raging inside of him as she looked at him with fear , pulling on her jeans.

"I'-I'm sorry, I didn't know he was with someone."She swiftly said, the flash of blonde came as soon as it left, leaving Liam and Niall alone.

"How could you do this? why did you make me believe that you were in love with me?"Niall shakily spoke, watching Liam pull on a shirt and his boxer.

"I'm sorry , babe-"

"Don't you ever fucking call me that again."He said harshly, his eye snapping up to look Liam in the eyes ."You promised me, I forgave you for using me , I forgave you for cheating on me not once but multiple time, I forgave you for fucking my best friend.This is it Liam, we're fucking over."He yelled, his face turning beet red as each word he spoke filled him more with anger.

"I'm sorry, I don't know why I did it-"

"let me guess, "Niall said sarcastically, walking over to their dresser as he started packing his things.Liam viewed him carefully,"You had a bad childhood, mom left me , cheated on my dad.Liam you're a grown ass man, get over it.You can't blame your commitment issues on your parents anymore.You're just a dude with relationship issues who will forever be just someone to fuck around with.Well I'm not a high school kid anymore, I'm not that pure virgin you met last year.Ive gone through shit that half of was your fault.Im done, Liam."

"Please stay,"Liam reached to grab Niall's arm, they had walked over to the living room.The brunet listened to him silently as he trudged around like a puppy who had eaten from the trash bin but instead of a puppy he was a cheating dick.

Niall pulled away in disgust,"I'm not playing games anymore, Liam.I gave you more than one chance and you fucking blew again.From now on, dont ever fucking talk to me."

Liam watched the only man he ever loved walk out of the front door.Watched as Zayn came to pick up his stuff, feeling the hazel eyes silently kill him.Watch Niall as he ignored him in class, watched as Niall's sad somber face grew into a happier version, watched as he started sitting with a new guy in class.He watched Niall's life move on, without him.
