It was Saturday morning, Niall had woken up early to help his mom make breakfast while his dad slept.

"Why are you up so early?"Maura asked, starting to brew the coffee to company the pancakes she's made.

"I wanted to help out."Niall shrugged."Anyways, I'm going out today."

"That's why."She laughed"You want money?"Niall nodded, a sly smile on his face.

"Alright, I'm giving you twenty. I expect my change back."

"Like always."Niall smiled.

It was three, Niall had gotten out of the shower after dancing a bit to his favorite album.

"Because I'm a fool for you!"Niall sang, combing his hair upwards as he decided what to wear.

He pulled on a pair of black jeans that he rolled up, a blue, red and black one flannel and white converse.After spraying a bit of cologne, he waited patiently on his bed as he texted Zayn about anything that can take his mind away from it.

After a few selfies and scrolls through Instagram, Niall got a texted telling him Liam was outside.

Memories of the last time went through his head, Niall tried focusing on something else but it gave him deja vu.

"Hey."Liam grinned, turning down a song by Kendrick Lamar.

"Hi."Niall said nervously, hiding his emotions behind a smile.

Liam didn't want to make Niall uncomfortable with asking, knowing the answer himself, he drove to a small restaurant that was close to where he lived.

They stepped into the modern designed  restaurant, having a lady dressed in a black and white knee length dress, her hair in curls as she held menus in her hand and a name tag on her left breast.

"Hello,"She said confidently, a small smile"What can I get for you boys today?"

"Can we have a table for two?"Liam replied, the same form of confidence in his voice.

"Of course."She grinned at both males."Follow me."

Niall examined her more, seeing she was around late twenties or early thirties.Was shorter than he was and her name tag read Jane.

"I'll give you both time to settle in and look at the menu."She continued to smile, before walking away.

They sat a small table fit for two, being close to each other made Niall uncomfortable yet he didn't want to be farther apart.

"Do you know what your getting?"Liam interrupted their silence as he looked up from the menu.

"Um I think a small burger with avocado and a side of french fries."Niall smiled cutely as he was content with his answer."You?"

"Unlike you,"Liam laughed"I'm going to have a quarter pounder with a side of fries and wings."

Niall shook his head at Liam's big appetite, laughing along with him.It felt good to get passed the awkwardness but Liam knew he would have to talk about it soon.
