I popped us over to the edge of the Badlands, right by the trees. We watched as the mushroom cloud went up into the air and a wave of dust came rushing towards us. We closed our eyes as the dust came at us and covered us in ash. The ash fell like snow around us as Wells and Cisco came over the comms and asked if we were alright.

"Yeah," I told them. "We're good, but I can't tell how much radiation we were exposed to."

"Wait-" Cisco voice sounded confused. "The Geiger counters in your suits-it's reading less than one millirad."

"But that's normal," Barry said. I exchanged a look with Barry before grabbing their hands again and teleporting close to where Stein was. We landed right where we started. Caitlin made her way down the slope towards the smoking pit. Barry and I followed close behind. I nearly slipped as I went down, but Barry grabbed my hand and steadied me until we got down to the end.

"Did it work?" Cisco asked. "Did you separate them?"

I shook my head as I answered him, "We don't know. The smoke is pretty thick."

Barry and I stopped as Caitlin rushed forward, calling Ronnie's name. The man whose face I once called Stein lifted his head as Caitlin went to his side. His clothes were burnt completely in some places, but he looked otherwise unharmed.

Caitlin kneeled down to his side, "Tell me your name."

"Ronnie Raymond," he said with a smile as he kissed Caitlin. "Cait. It's me."

Barry and I smiled brightly as we watched the long separated couple reunite.

"Uh, pardon me," An older man in the same state as Ronnie came out of the smoke. "Obviously, I need a change of clothes."

Barry smiled at him, "Nice to see you in the flesh again, Professor Stein."

"Boys," I said to Wells and Cisco over the comms. "We're coming home. All of us."

..............................

"Ronnie Raymond," Cisco was beaming as we exited the elevator.

"Cisco," Ronnie shook Cisco's hand and they hugged.

"Ohh. I missed you so much, man," Cisco said as he hugged his friend. He pulled him away and his face dropped a bit. "I shouldn't have locked you in there." Ronnie stopped him as Wells rounded the corner.

"Welcome back, Mr. Raymond."

"Dr. Wells," Ronnie approached Wells and shook his hand. "Caitlin told me what happened to you. I'm so sorry."

"I'm responsible for putting myself in this chair," Wells told him. "You are responsible for my still being alive-thank you."

"You said you'd bring him back, and you did. Thank you," Caitlin thanked Wells. Everyone was smiling.

"Excuse me?" Stein said, breaking up the happy reunion. "Are we all planning to sing Kumbaya next? Because I need to freshen up and get a change of clothes." I put my hand over my mouth to hide my smile as Wells and Stein exchanged names. Seeing those two together might be interesting to watch.

"Battle of the Egoes," I thought. "Science Edition."

"Of course," Cisco said. "Right this way, Professor."

..............................

Barry and I decided to be the ones to bring Professor Stein back home now that he can no longer fly there.
