"Where is Thawne?" Singh asked Joe, Barry, and I as he came out of his office. The three of us had been standing by Joe's desk, asking ourselves that very same question.
Joe was the first to save us, "He took some personal time."
"Yeah," I added as I rubbed the back of my neck with one hand. "Eddie's been going through some stuff, Captain."
"Yeah, aren't we all?" Singh said. "You got anything on these gold store robberies? Perps hit up two more in the last week, and we still got nothing."
Joe told him that we were working on it as Barry nodded, "Just waiting on some final results from the lab." Singh spun his finger around a couple of times, motioning for us to hurry up.
"And see if somebody can contact The Flash and Hecate," Singh said, sounding tired. "Maybe they can help speed things up." I gave a small smile which Singh caught. "You know what I mean. Get going."
We went back to our huddle once Singh walked away. Joe asked us in a low voice, "Anything?"
"No," Barry shook his head, his own eyes looking as tired Singh's. "I mean, I've looked everywhere."
"And I've checked everywhere I could think Wells has been for clues," I crossed my arms. "The man is a ghost, left no trace of personal belongings, nothing."
Joe sighed, "Keep looking."
Barry and I ran upstairs to finish up the lab results for Singh, "Bar, can you get all the physical evidence together? I'll email and print out the reports." Barry nodded and went to work getting everything into the evidence box while I sat down at my computer and got the reports sent. As the last of the reports came out of the printer, the sound of heels clicked in.
I swiveled a bit in my chair as I straightened out the reports, "Hi Iris."
"Hey, Rose, Barry," Iris greeted in an unusually sad voice. Barry told her we were heading out as I threw the last of the reports together into their files and got my jacket on. "Something happened. And I'm not supposed to say anything, but I couldn't keep quiet. The Man in Yellow, he took Eddie right in front of me."
"What?" I said, reacting with wide eyes and with a hint of fear in my voice. "Iris..."
"Oh, my God," Barry reached out a hand to put on Iris' shoulder, put she pulled away. Both Barry and I looked at her, a bit confused. "Are you okay?"
Iris' voice rose a bit, "No, no. Not at all. No, I... The Flash was there. He told me to go home and not to talk to anyone because he would fix it, but he hasn't. I think the police should be out there searching for Eddie."
"No, Iris," I said as I put the files on top of the evidence box and pulled it off of the desk. "The Man in Yellow would hurt them. He could kill them."
"Rose is right," Barry tried to reassure her. "And The Flash and Hecate are probably doing everything they can to find Eddie."
Iris looked at Barry with cold hard eyes before turning them to me as well, "Yeah, well, I'm finding it pretty hard to trust The Flash right now. Hecate too." I sighed.
"Then trust me. Okay? Look, I'm so sorry about all of this. I-" Barry stopped. "Everything is gonna be okay. We have to go."

"Do you really need to hit the top of the entrance every time you walk in a room?" I asked Barry as we entered the cortex. "Is this some sort of height superiority thing?"
