Asides the fact that I had a broken arm, the nurse said that I would be okay to leave in a few days. When Tyler wasn't practising for the upcoming concert, he was with me in the hospital. I hated the fact that he was fussing over me instead of exploring New York, but be wouldn't have any of my complaining.
"There is no way that I'm seeing the city without you." Tyler retorted after I told him to get out there.
"But I feel so bad keeping you couped up here." I replied.
"How about we take a few days after the concert to explore a little?" He compromised as he paced around the hotel room.
"Fine." I agreed. It would be nice to see the city.
Days in the hospital finally passed, until Tyler came to pick me up for the concert."Finally." I took in the fresh air around me as I stepped out of the hospital doors, a blue cast around my left hand.
"Emily!" Josh ran up to me, waving a sharpie in the air.
"Nice to see you too." I laughed.
"I gotta sign it!" He crouched down by my cast.
"Fine." I rolled my eyes.
"Oooh, I gotta sign it too!" Tyler took the sharpie from Josh when he was finished.
"Aaaaand finished." Tyler backed away from my cast. I looked at what he had wrote.
To be honest, you look pretty bad ass.
I smiled down at the message.
"Hey guys! Show starts in five hours! Let's goooo!" I heard Marks' voice call from a limo.
"You got a limo?!" I gaped at the black, sleek car that was waiting for us.
"Yeah, I thought it would be kind of cool." Tyler scratched the back of his head.
"I think it's very cool." I pecked his cheek. We walked over to the limo.
"I didn't even get one of these in prom." I told Tyler.
"I had no one to take to prom, so I rode my bike." Tyler chuckled.
"You took your bike to prom?" I arched my brow at him."Yeah." He dipped his head smiling.
"Awwww!" I wrapped my arm around him.
"Joe drove me in a truck, it was pretty awful. Worse than biking alone." In reassured him as I stepped into the limo.
"Holy shit." I looked around. Not only were the seats white leather, there was a mini fridge. A mini fridge, in a car.
"Shhhhhhhhhhhh." Tyler put his finger on my lips."What did I say about the cursing?" He scolded me.
"You're the one to talk." I mumbled. He put his hand over his chest in a mock offence."I was concerned for the well being of my girlfriend." He gasped at me. I felt a smile spread across my face. I felt the limo lurch forward.
"Dude look at this!" Josh was crouched down by the mini fridge.
"What?" Tyler asked, peering over his shoulder.
"RED BULL!" Josh almost shouted.
"NO WAY!" Tyler almost jumped.
"CALM DOWN." I added, laughing at the two of them. Tyler turned to face me, his mock offence had returned.
"I'll have you know that Red Bull not only, in fact, gives me wings, but it is the most glorious thing that will ever graze your throat." He explained.
"I prefer Coke." I told him.
"Who are you?" He stared at me.
"A girl who fears for the sanity of her boyfriend." I stuck my tongue out at him. He rolled his eyes.
"You return to your sad life of Coca Cola, I'm going to enjoy my Red Bull." He grabbed a can and plopped down next to me on the seat. I could feel him getting anxious for the concert.
"Are you ready for the show tonight?" I asked him, hoping to calm him down.
"I really hope so."
Sorry that chapter was so short, I have a lot to do. I'll update tomorrow, so please bear with me and my crappy writing.
