"EMILY WE HAVE A CRISIS ON OUR HANDS."

Tyler's voice sounded panicked over the phone. I held the speaker away from my ear for a moment as he shouted.

"What? Whats wrong?" I questioned feeling a bit nervous myself.

"It's Josh!" Tyler exclaimed loudly.
I felt a rock drop in my stomach.

"Oh my god is he okay? What happened?"
There was hesitation on Tyler's end of the line.

"He.... Dyed... His... Hair... Green!" He practically screeched. A wave of relief passed over me. I thought it was serious.

"Tyler," I chuckled, "calm down."
I heard him take a few breaths.

"I am calm." He finally said.
"Very very calm."
I rolled my eyes.

"How does it look?" I asked.

"Surprisingly not bad." He told me.

"Well then there's nothing to worry about." I reassured him.

"Oh right, that's not why I called. My mom will give you the job. She also gave me the job. We're gonna be interns!" Tyler's enthusiastic voice explained. It made me smile that he found being an intern so exiting.

"That's great!" I joined his enthusiasm. I was exited to actually start making money. I was sick of ordering food.

"We start on Wednesday." Tyler informed me.

"Okay perfect. I'll see you later?" I asked.

"Yeah, see you." I could almost hear him smiling over the phone.

'I wonder why?'

Sorry for the filler chapter, I have a lot going on. Also, rant time my friends! So I told one of my "friends" about six hundred reads. I was super exited. But she just said;
"My book only has four chapters and it's got seven hundred reads." Now, she's written popular books before, so of course her book gets more reads faster. I'm just starting out. Anyways, she said that it was lame to update once a day and that I should only update three times a month. I don't think that I could go more than a week without writing! She said that by leaving everyone with suspense that I was ruining the story. Then she called it mediocre. I mean, it's not an amazing story, but she's never read it. She can never be supportive of me, or be happy that I'm finally gaining popularity. All she does is brag about a job in New York (that we all know she made up). She calls herself a great writer, and I'm. It saying she isn't, but she never. Capitalizes. Her. 'I's. She calls it emotional. I call it my pet peeve. She always has to top everything I do and I'm fed up with it. What should I do?
