Over the next few weeks, I didn't hear anything in regards to my application to the New York Academy of Art, and that was okay, it meant more time with Tyler. I continued to draw, and for a while, thought of once again giving up on it, until the mail came in.

'Dear Emily Chapman. The New York Academy of Art had been more than happy in regards of your stunning application, and we are willing to offer you a spot with us starting September First of 2011. We found your art incredibly unique, and you have shown a lot of potential. We hope to be hearing about you acceptance soon.

Sincerely, Juliet Harstone

Head Mistress at the New York Academy of Art.'

I stared at the letter. Did I just get accepted into one of the most advanced art schools in the country.

"Dad?" I called hoarsely.

"Yes Emily?" I heard him walking towards me.

"I- I did it." I stammered. My dad grabbed the letter out of my hands.

"Oh my god..."

I didn't know what to think. This was it. This is what I wanted, right?

"I- I'll call the school now, and tell them you'll be attending!" My dad smiled broadly.

"Oh, Emily, I'm so proud of you!" He rested his hand on my shoulder, then he walked towards the phone. I stood frozen on the carpet. What did I do now? I had to call Tyler. I shakily grabbed my phone from my pocket.

"Hey Emily." Tyler greeted me.

"I got accepted." I told him, rushing to my point. There was silence through the phone.

"Seriously?" Tyler questioned.

"Yeah, I got the letter."

"Oh my gosh hold on I'm coming over!" Tyler hung up.

"T-Tyler..." But it was too late, the phone was silent. I went and sat down on the couch.

"Well," My dad sat next to me, "Next September."

I tilted my head forward and sighed.

"I just can't believe it." I said quietly. My dad wrapped his arm around me.

"I couldn't be prouder." He told me. I heard a knock at the door, and rushed to get it.

"OHMYGOSHYOUDIDIT!" Tyler threw his arms around me. I stepped back in surprise.

"Calm down!" I chuckled. Tyler gripped my shoulders.

"Emily, don't you understand? YOU ARE GOING TO NEW YORK!" He smiled broadly. I tilted my head.

"Yeah, in a year." I told him.

He sighed.

"I can't believe that my girlfriend is going to New York! What if you become famous? WILL I BE DATING A FAMOUS ARTIST?"

I rolled my eyes at him.

"Hey, do you want to get lunch? You know, to celebrate?" Tyler asked.

"Sure, but no Taco Bell."

The snow had started to fall on the ground, and there was an icy wind blowing. Christmas was coming soon. Tyler had to go pick Josh up for lunch, who also freaked out about the news of me going back to New York. We didn't go to Taco Bell, thank god, instead going to Olive Garden. There wasn't much of an improvement, but that didn't matter.

"I just can't believe it." Tyler said again.

"Well you better, my best friend is going to New York!" Josh said excitedly.

"Shh, we're in a restaurant!" I scolded my green haired friend.

"Hey, we should all get together on Christmas." Tyler suggested. "All of our families."

"Sure, it can be at my place." I agreed.

"Sounds like fun." Josh said in between a bite of food. We finished up our meal quickly, then decided to go back to Joshes house to play Mario Kart.

So Christmas finally came, and it passed so quickly. Everyone came over to my house for Christmas dinner, supplied by me and a very reluctant Tyler and Josh. The night couldn't have gotten better, and after we had all eaten Christmas dinner, and to Tyler's siblings dismay, Tyler had to go and pull out his ukulele.

"Oh lighten up." He glared at Maddie after she had let out a huge groan.

"Emily," He turned to me, "I just want you to know, that in the year that I have known you, you have made me into a better person. Being with you is the best thing that could possibly ever happen to me. You are the most beautiful girl I have ever met, and I know that this is incredibly cheesy of me to make a speech, but oh well!"

I blushed heavily as Tyler began to play his Ukulele.

" Wise men say, only fools rush in, but I can't help falling in love with you."

I couldn't help but smile as I watched him play.

"Shall I stay? Would it be a sin, if I can't help falling in love with you."

Tyler smiled at me as he sang, his brown eyes crinkled up as he performed for the three families.

"Like a river flows, surely to the sea. Darling so it goes, somethings' are meant to be. Take my hand, take my whole life too, for I can't help falling in love with you."

Before anyone even said anything, I rushed up from my seat and threw my arms around him, not speaking. I looked up at him. Tyler was smiling down at me. I gave him a quick kiss, followed by a gag from Joshes brother, and a slap on the shoulder from Maddie telling him to shut up.

"I love you." I whispered to Tyler.

"I love you too."

So my writing has gotten horribly boring, what is happening to me? Why is my story getting so damn dull? Anyways, only two to three chapters left, so brace yourselves.
