So two months had passed. But two months of what exactly? Two months of watching Tyler and Josh practise, job hunting with no success, visiting my father, Skype calls with Henry and dinners with Tyler. The day before the trip to New York, I was in a library with Tyler. We didn't do much talking, we just sat back-to-back reading.

"Have you read 'Room'?" I asked him.

"Hmm?" He replied, hardly paying attention.

"You know, Room?" I repeated. We were sitting cross-legged in the middle of an alphabet carpet.

"No, I haven't." He spun around to face me.

"Oh, its really good, you should read it." I suggested.

"Well, you see, I have already found a book." He jokingly bragged.

"Oh have you?"
He held up a book in front of my face. I laughed.

"Harry Potter?" I smiled at him.

"Heck ya!"
He was such a dork.

"Well, you have fun with your children's books. I, on the other hand, shall read my adult literature." I scoffed. Tyler arched his eyebrow.

"Phh, children's book my patootie." He responded. I stared at him.

"Did you honestly just say 'patootie'?"

"Shhhh, we are in a place of children."
I looked around. There was no one here.

"You couldn't have said 'my ass'?" I smirked at him. He put his finger over my lips.

"Hush. No cursey cursey."
I rolled my eyes at him.

"Whatever." I rested my head on his lap and continued to read. A mother and her child walked passed us, and she gave us a small smile as we stayed on the children's rug for the entire rest of the afternoon.

The next morning, after going back to my house, I was awoken by Tyler standing over my bed, holding a stereo. Music was blaring out of it.

"Yeah I'm out that Brooklyn, now I'm bout that Tribeca..."
Tyler was attempting to rap along to Jay-Z. I laughed at him.

"Are you serious? What time is it?"
Tyler let the music play.

"Seven o'clock, and hell ya I'm serious. We gotta be on the road by eight. I made some pancakes to go and, wait hold on."
Tyler paused his conversation to sing along.

"In New Yoooooork. Concrete Jungle where dreams are made of, there's nothing you can't do. Get out of your beeeeed. We gotta get on the road soon, so get out ya bedroom. Emily we gotta go, gotta go, gotta gooooo."

"Alright, alright. I'm getting up."
Tyler paused his music.

"Finally. Get dressed. Have you packed?"

"Of course I've packed." I hit him with a pillow.

"Now get out, I need to get dressed."

"Fiiiiiiiiine." Tyler complained as he backed out of my room. I quickly threw on my black jeans and grey tank top, with a purple cardigan over top. I pulled on my red beanie, and put my black Converse on my feet. I checked myself out in the mirror.

'Not bad.'

Ever since I had met Tyler, I have felt so much more confident about myself, and I loved it. I grabbed my suitcase from in my closet, and hurried to meet Tyler. He was waiting in my hallway, holding a bag of pancakes.

"You look, great." He looked at me. I smiled.

"Thanks." I blushed.

"C'mon, we gotta go." Tyler grabbed my empty hand and lead me out the door. I was greeted by Josh, a grey van, and a man I didn't recognize.

"Emily, this is Mark. He'll be driving us." Tyler introduced me to the man.

"Nice to meet you." I shook his hand.

"Let's go already!" Josh complained. We hopped into the long van, where we would spend the next five days.
