Him & Her

"Madeline Rose Brown" my mom said yelling as I was curling my hair. "You will be late"my mom screamed again. "i'll be down in a sec" I yelled back as I finished my last curl". It was the first day of my Junior year in high school. My plan of the year was to join the high school volleyball team and blend in. You know how most girl's point of a good year is to have the perfect boyfriend, well that's the complete opposite of how I want my year to go. I was done with boys ever since my last relationship. I broke up with him after I saw him kissing another girl(that happens to be my best friend) at my birthday party. What a birthday. Anyways when I walked downstairs I was welcomed to plate of eggs and bacon. After I ate all my food I went to the bus stop and ya know waited."Hey, Maddie" a familiar voice called as I was listening to music on my phone, waiting. "Hey, Ben" I spoke as my friend gave me a hug." MADDIE!" my friend Emma screamed, she gave me a hug before I could say anything. "Hey, Emma I spoke. " I missed you so much!" " Emma I just saw u yesterday, calm down" I whispered as we hopped on the school bus. " Oh yaa". We all sat down and rode to school while Emma told me about all that happened after she left my house last night. As we arrived at Franklin Roosevelt High School my cheeks started to boil. I noticed my Ex boyfriend and my Ex best friend hugging as I walked into the school. It just reminded me of the week where I just broke down after what I saw at my birthday just endless days of nothing. But now I was a better person, an independent women since I gave up men. When I walked through the halls to my homeroom I observed the people I was going to see in my Advisory for the rest of the year. I noticed that Emma was in my Advisory lucky me, but then I also noticed Morgan(My Ex best friend) and guess what also Tom(My Ex Boyfriend). It was going to be a miserable year I could already tell.
