Third Person POV

The year is 784. All our friends are hanging at the Guild Hall having some fun. Except Lucy who was out on some errands. As for Natsu...

Natsu's POV

Dream~~~

I was in a field. With Igneel. Like many of my dreams.

We were just laying there. Relaxing. Igneel was half asleep, I was staring at the clouds. Just then a shadow glided across the sky. I felt joy full inside me as I jumped up and woke Igneel up.

"Look! Look! They're here!" I cheered.

Igneel just grunted and looked up reluctantly.

The shadow, which was actually a dragon, landed gracefully on the grassy plain. I ran up to the dragon, and the girl sitting on top. The dragon was purple with black feet, claws, horns and tail. The girl on top of this dragon had bold dark-ish poison purple hair with equally bold deep ocean blue tips, that slowly morphed into the purple. It came down to just past her shoulders and was slightly curled in at the bottom. Her skin only slightly tanned. Smile a natural scarlet red. Teeth pure white.

This girl was my best friend.

She jumped off her dragon and we greeted with a hug.

"You actually came!" I smiled.

"Of course! It's your birthday Natty! Why would I miss it?!?" She giggled.

She passed me a small box, wrapped in a galaxy themed paper.

"You didn't have to get me anything." I smiled modestly.

"It's your birthday! I had to." She insisted. "Besides you got me this amazing necklace for my birthday!"

She shined the necklace. It was a small circular pendant with a galaxy design printed on top. It was linked to a crescent moon that curved around half the pendant.

"I can't believe you actually wear that." I blushed.

"Why wouldn't I wear it? It's amazing! And more importantly..." She trailed. "I got it from you. Now open your gift!"

I unwrapped it carefully, before pulling out the small box inside. I opened the box and took out its contents. Inside was a small bracelet, with a flame charm attacked on both ends so it was locked in place.

"I know it's not a very boy thing but-"

"I love it!" I interrupted. "Couldn't ask for anything better!"

We both smiled. Blushing slightly.

Dream end~

"Natsu." I heard a voice call. "Natsu wake up."

I cracked my eyes open to see Lucy looming over me.

"Oh. Hey Lucy. What's up?" I asked.

"You were sleeping...IN MY BED AGAIN!!!" She screamed.
