Explain and Secret

Mio's POV

After I basically injured nearly everyone in the damn guild, I got dragged back to the infirmary by Mira. She didn't look terrifying, but I could tell her magic was.

I was sat up in bed, waiting for Mira to let me leave. Although I did a lot of fighting, because I wasn't use my magic, I didn't lose any. I was perfectly fine. Rogue sat between me and Sting, who was already awake.

"Wow Mio. You're really strong." The blond smirked. "Hell you desolated all of us without even having to use magic."

"Well it's just a few things I had to learn to survive. When your magic is as difficult as mine, you have to come up with some sort of substitute."

"Never thought I'd meet a Dimension Dragon Slayer though. I never heard of such a dragon."

"Well Ginga did usually spend her time in the void space between realities. She wasn't much for being social and wanted to avoid other people or dragons."

"Which I'm taking didn't work for long." Rogue guessed.

"Yup. Once we met she had no other choice to talk. But even then we still hung in the space between worlds. Until we met Natsu and Dragneel of course. Then I made her stay in Earthland." I told them. "She found it annoying, but I would always catch a smile of her face whenever she saw me happy with Natsu."

"Seems like you two are closer than me and Sting could ever be."

"Trust me..." I sighed "I doubt things will be like that anymore."

I looked outside to see Lucy still taking care of Natsu's wounds, as he refused to go into the infirmary because he was too scared to be in the same small space as me. Lucy was wrapping bandages around his arm, while he sat still. Looking away with a light pink tint to his face.

"He had a lot more friends now. More than just me. He just needs to realise that and know that he can tell them anything." I mumbled to myself.

"What was that?" Rogue questioned.

"Oh nothing." I stated. "Just thinking out loud is all."

The moment Lucy was done patching him up, Mira said I could leave the room. Rogue followed me out.

We went back outside, Natsu cowering behind Lucy as he saw me coming.

"Don't let that monster near me Luce! She's gonna kill me!" He jokingly yelled.

"Calm your jets Natsu." I laughed. "I'm done with my rampage."

He released Lucy's arm and sat up again.

"That reminds me. We were stuck at Tenro Island for 7 years. Why aren't you older?" Natsu questioned.

"Oh! Well...a few months after Ginga disappeared I ran into a scurry at the edge of a town. There was a huge fight, guns and fists fights everywhere you look. I got shot. Somehow, I ended up surviving. I remember things fading to black, then I woke up around a mile away from the town." I explained. "I guess I was out for 7 years."

Note - Possible Spoilers in explanation below about the end of the anime. (Anime NOT manga)

Mio got sent into a void between realities. There, her magic slowly got restored until she was awakened 7 years later. The time she got out was around the time Fairy Tail got stuck at Tenro. This book takes place after the Grand Magic games.

"I see. That explains it." Natsu said plainly.

"Mhm. Any chance you do have any idea where all the dragons are?" I asked.

The area went dead silent. Everyone shifted awkwardly.

"What? Do you know?" I asked again.

"Sadly not." Natsu sighed. "But we're working on it. There was this whole thing with a gate that allowed dragons from the past come through and almost destroy the whole country. But we'll explain another time. It's really complicated."

"Oh. Okay then. So...why don't you guys show me around town. I just spent my time at either Lucy's house, the Guild Hall or the tree." I told them.

"Of course you'd be at that tree." Natsu chuckled. "You always loved sleeping under that large tree in the forest. I'd always have to drag you back."

"Like you can say anything! You fell asleep under it too!"

We both laughed lightly.

"Well I would live to show you around but me and Lucy have to go on a job."

"I though you were going on a job with Erza?" I questioned.

"I am. Natsu is begging to come with. He's not taking no for an answer."

"I see." I smiled.

For once he was willingly going somewhere without me. He saw my smile and turned slightly pink.

"So Rogue, you mind showing me around?"

"Sure."

"Thanks. See you guys later."

I dragged Rogue away from the hall and he started touring me around Magnolia.

I know it's short. But I had to remove some stuff so I could add it into...something later.
