Mio's POV

"Mmmmm...."

"What's wrong, my child?" Ginga asked me.

"Huh? Oh. It's just..." I sighed. "I feel sorry for annoying that kid."

"It was both your faults for being such a nuisance. So long as neither of you say sorry it doesn't matter."

"But I wanna say sorry."

"We are not going out again. You saw how troublesome it was. We had to put out a fire some kid and another dragon caused and then you got in a fight."

"Then I'll go alone!"

"Miori. No. You are not strong enough to leave this place alone. You don't even know the point Earthland is at."

"I do to! I memorised it when we went out!"

"You're still not going! You can't even move around alone!"

"If you won't take me then I'll take myself! You can't stop me!"

Without giving her a chance to grab me back, I opened a portal and jumped through it, closing it behind me. Soon I found myself falling through random space.

Damn it! I gotta get out or I'll be falling forever! What was the coordinates for Earthland? It was...in the last star of Orion's belt. Arg!  How do I even move? I can fly!

I looked around the skies, frantically searching for the constellation before I fell too far away. Then I spotted it, not too far away. It was no more than 10 miles away. I concentrated hard and focuses my magic around me.

Please...Let me fly.

That's when it happened. My body glowed and I started floating. I felt the force of gravity stop on me as I hovered in space.

"I...I did it. I CAN FLY!!! YES!!!"

I shot up in joy, soaring through the space. I flew around with ecstasy. I flew past multiple constellations and stars and who knows what else. Taking in the beauty of the place around me. It seemed as through the happier I became the brighter the thirds star on Orion's Belt became.

"Go. Fulfil your dreams. Your destiny." A voice rang through my head.

Without hesitation I dashed through the galaxy at the speed of light and forced my way through.

There was a huge almost blinding flash before I broke through the dimensional barrier and was taken to Earthland.

It was just as beautiful as it was before. The sun was burning brightly and there was a light breeze. Suddenly, I felt a great force push down on me and my glow disappeared. Then I started falling.

"AHHHHHH!!!" I screamed, feeling the end press against my back. "SOMEONE! SAVE ME!"

I shut my eyes tight, waiting for impact. But then I felt a presence beneath me, catching me. I opened them, to be faced with red scales.

"Igneel?" I questioned, sitting up.

"Oh. It's you Miori." He said surprised. "Maybe that's why Natsu refused to come."

"Huh?"

"We heard you screaming, and saw someone fall from the sky. So I said that we should save them. Natsu refused and so I came alone."

"Huh. Why would he refuse because it was me?"

"If I must be honest, he doesn't like you."

"I see... That's why I came here actually." I explained. "I came to apologise, because I felt bad. But Ginga refused to take me so I came alone."

"So that's why I didn't smell her."

"Mm. So, can we go back to Natsu."

Igneel dove down towards the small figure on the ground, before breaking just before he almost slammed into the ground. I hoped off his back and thanked him for saving me, before turning to Natsu.

But before I could say anything there was a huge thunderous sound followed by a roar. We all looked up to see Ginga flying towards us. She landed gracefully on the ground before glaring at me.

"MIORI UZU WHAT IN THE STARS NAMES DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING?!?" She yelled. "You could have died!"

"But I-"

"No buts! How in the world did you even get here?"

"Something happened! I started glowing and then I could fly! Then I flew really fast towards the star point for Earthland! Then I was falling but Igneel saved me!"

She looked surprised that I was able to fly then sighed before turning to Igneel.

"Thank you for saving her. I'm sorry I she caused a bother. Now if you'll excuse us-"

"No way! I'm doing what I came to do!" I protested before walking up to Natsu.

"What do you want?" He asked moodily.

"I came to say sorry."

He perked up and turned to me.

"I'm sorry for insulting you, and saying that you couldn't control your magic." I told him. "Actually, I think it takes great power to set alight as much forest as you did. Especially for our ages."

"...I'm sorry too, I guess." He replied. "I shouldn't have called you weird."

"Friends then?" I smiled, holding out a hand.

He smiled back and shook it.

"So lets reintroduce ourselves." I suggested. "Hey. My names Miori Uzu, but you can all me Mio. I'm 7 years old and I'm the Dimension Dragon Slayer!"

"Hehe. I'm Natsu Dragneel. I'm 8 years old, and I'm the Fire Dragon Slayer!"

Back to Present

"Wow." Wendy said in awe. "That was such a cute story. No wonder Natsu was so happy when he saw you alive."

"Yeah. We had a rocky start, but we made friends in no time."

"Hehe. Yeah. Are you glad he remembers you?"

"Of corse. We were each others first friends. We were inseparable. I'm glad I had him. And still do."

"I'm glad too. I'm also glad I have Carla."

"It's always great to have a close friend."

"Mhm. That reminds me, you're a dragon slayer right?" She questioned.

"Yeah."

"Then why don't you have an exceed?"

"You mean a cat like Happy and Carla?"

"Yeah."

"Well, about that-"

"MIO!!!!" A voice screamed from the doors.
