Break Down

Mio's POV

We waited a while. The dragon didn't roar again. Natsu and Lucy hadn't returned and we started to worry.

"Guys...I'm worried." I said, slightly panicking.

"They'll be okay." Rogue reassured me. "Natsu is extremely strong."

"But has he actually killed a dragon?"

Silence.

"Exactly! What if the dragon-"

"If it'll make you shut up I'll go get em." Sting sighed.

"I'll go with." Yukino stated. "You may need back up and I have my own celestial keys."

"Okay. Let's go."

They ran out the cave, leaving just me an Rogue. I could feel myself still shaking. Just then it started to really pour with rain. Thunder and lightning roared and flashed.

"Are you alright?" He asked.

I sat down, trying to calm myself. I could hear my breathing get more heavy.

"Mio!"

"I-I..." Before I realised it I broke down crying.

I was terrified.

Rogue sat next to me, trying to get me to calm down. Just his presence being so close to me seemed to calm me down. I instinctually leaned into him. My brain not functionality properly for me to care. I felt him stiffen but then go back to normal. Working seconds I had fallen asleep.

Meanwhile with the sub-plots!

Lily, Happy, Calra, Lector, Froche and Hikari had all hidden in a small patch of bushes. Lily and Lector was on look out for anyone or the dragon. Carla was semi-panicking and Happy was trying to calm her down. And Hikari and Froche were acting like children telling ghost stories and jokes.

Juvia and Gray were alone in another cave in the mountain as Erza had gone off to see if she could find anyone else. Juvia had fallen asleep because of all the panic and so Gray was hugged up trying to keep her warm.

Levy and Gajeel were also stuck in a cave, but luckily Levy had brought a book. So due to boredom Gajeel was making her read it allowed so he could listen too. He also was sitting right next to her looking at the pictures.

Now back to my ship...oh you couldn't tell Mio was shipped with Rogue? Oh well you know now!

I woke up, what I assumed was, about 20 minutes later. But not well. I was awoken by another roar of the dragon. But this time it wasn't just once. It roared over and over again.

"What's happening?" I asked, panicked.

"I think the dragon finally had enough of waiting...or Natsu started a fight."

Suddenly there was a huge rumbling noise followed by crashing. The entrance of the cave was sealed by rocks and we were drowned in darkness. I started to panic again. Being trapped in a small space and in the pitch black darkness was not a good mix for me. My breathing went erratic again and I started shaking.

"Mio! Try stay calm okay!"

I felt Rogue put his hands on my shoulders. Even with my vision gone I could tell he was staring directly at me. But that's didn't help to ease my panic. I stumbled back and hit my head against the wall. I doubled over in pain, clenching my head.
