Courage

Mio's POV

It was still dark. We could faintly hear the dragon roaring from the outside.

"Damn it..." I growled. "I have to get out there. I have to help!"

"And we will! We just need to find a way out."

"We don't have time for that! My friends are out there in the middle of a battle and I can't take sitting here doing nothing!"

I angrily kicked the blockade of rocks, only for a few stones to crumble off it. Rogue then pulled me back before I could kick again.

"Calm it, we don't want the whole place to cave in."

"...you're right. Sorry."

I angrily stared at the wall.

Okay, you moved Lucy right? You can move boulders...right? But what if when it gets removed more falls? Damn it I can't do anything!

"That's it."

"Huh?" Rogue questioned, confused.

"I refuse to stay in here any longer. Just be ready to catch me."

"What? What are you gonna do?"

"You'll see. Just stand behind me and get ready to catch me."

I heard him move behind me and I closed my eyes. I concentrated on my magic. On the way I felt it move throughout my body. Feeling it flow. I made it flow faster.

I opened my eyes and concentrated on the wall.

"Get ready to run after you grab me. Okay?"

"Okay..."

I let all my magic flow out from magic origin and rushed it around my body. I felt my body heat up, and then my dragon force activated. I felt my hair go from its dark purple to a lighter purple with its galaxy like effect. I felt some of the skin of my face and arms turn scale like.

I heard Rogue gasp in shock.

I raised my arms and placed my hands out in front of me.

"Okay....Dimension Dragon: Space Force!"

Magic blasted from my hands and crashed into the rocks, pushing them all out, revealing the outside. I felt all the magic drain from my body and I fell into Rogue's arms.

"Now run out!" I yelled with little energy I had left.

He picked me up bridal style before running outside. Just as we got out more rocks replaced them. Then the whole thing caved in.

We fell onto the ground. Rogue sat up to see the wreckage. Rocks were spewed everywhere. He then looked back down at me.

"That...was amazing. How did you-?"

"I...just used...as much power as I could to....make sure that...we could get out." I puffed.

I couldn't move a muscle.

"Get....the pouch in my...pocket..."

He went into my pocket, but his face showed concern.

"What...is it?"

"They're not there. You musts have dropped them when we ran out..."

"Damn it...I can't move."

"I got ya." He picked me back up. "Now let's go."

I nodded and he started running. We followed the screeching of the dragon. Soon we heard yelling and found Natsu with Lucy, Sting and Yukino. They were trying to fight off the dragon, but it wasn't working.
