Together Again

Mio's POV

As Lucy was about to exit out the door, a boy with pink hair approached her. He looked...familiar. He started talking to herd, then she came skipping over and dragged me towards him. Now I could see his face properly.

It was him.

A flood of memories came flooding back before I could speak.

"Natsu..." I gasped. "Is that you?"

I could feel tears start to fall from my eyes, as I collapsed into a hug with Natsu.

"Holy crap. You're alive. You're actually alive." He sniffed, probably also crying.

"I-I thought I'd never find you. Damn it...you idiot."

"Hey, shut it."

We were smiling uncontrollably as we parted. I wiped the tears from my face, as did he.

"You, know each other?" Lucy questioned.

"Well...the thing that was up earlier. The thing I said I would tell you about." Natsu began. "And the reason I've been acting weird all week."

"Yeah? What of it?"

"It's because it's been, in our time, it's been the 8th year since all the dragon disappeared. Along with my old best friend." He explained. "That friend, is Mio."

"So wait, this is Mio?" A black-haired shirtless boy questioned.

Natsu nodded, as he put his arm around my neck.

"It's nice to meet ya." I smiled. "I didn't know Natsu was so hung on me that he told people about me."

I could feel him stiffen at my comment and I just laughed.

"You were always such an emotional kid. Guess you haven't changed much."

"Shut up already." He groaned in embarrassment, face red.

Soon a crowd of people had encircled is asking us a lot of questions. Like, what Natsu was like as a kid. How we met and then lost each other etc.

"Yeah. Where have you been the past few years. We were stuck on Tenro Island for 7 years, so how come you look the same age as us?" Natsu questioned.

"Oh! Well, you know how we all went off to random places, trying to find our dragons or a new home? And also how there was that rumour about me being dead. Well..." I started. "Soon after I started my journey I walked into this town, and a terrible one at that. I hadn't even been there 5 minutes and there was a gun fight. I got caught up in it and somehow got shot. I don't know what happened after, it's all a blur. But all I do remember is waking up quite a long way away from the town. The only explanation I could think of was that I got thrown back in time. But I guess now it was the opposite. I got pulled into a dimension for seven years while the magic around me slowly started to heal me."

"That explains a whole lot." A young blue haired girl stated, who I learned was Wendy.

"Wait, but how do you just get pulled into another dimension?" Levy asked.

"Heh. Because-"

"She's a Dimension Dragon Slayer!" Natsu proudly announced.

A shot of gasps and 'WHAT?!?'s shot through the room.

"That's so cool!" Romeo exclaimed.
