Suddenly, we all hear a high pitched scream.
"Mira?!" I shout, zooming up the stairs. The boys follow. I find her in my room and my eyes open wide at the sight.
My room looks as if it has just been hit by an earthquake (if that makes sense lol), books scattered, drawers broken, all of my posters ripped. I notice one thing though. My jewellery drawer. I walk over to it. It hasn't been destroyed like everything else. Hmmmmm... I open it. I scan the stuff in my drawer and notice only one thing is gone. My birth pendant.
(Okay, so, I made birth pendant up. It's basically some kind of stone/pendant thing that vampires get when they're born/bitten. It's basically their hearts, but in a pendant. All vampires have a different pendant. It basically shows their personality, if you know how to look at it. If someone takes a vampires birth pendant they could turn them into a monster, not literally, but they could change personality, control them ect. Hope that makes sense, soz if it don't. By the way, in case your wondering why I wrote all this in the middle of a chapter is, you only get a handful of people who actually take time to read the Authors note at the end. And I thought this could clarify for you what a birth pendant actually is so you know what I'm talking about when you read this chapter.)
- Louis POV -
Summer goes into a drawer and I notice she has frozen on the spot. This can't be good. I enter her mind and hear her say 'one thing is gone. My birth pendant'.
I knew it wasn't going to be good.
- Summers POV -
Ever since I can remember I've had that thing. And I can remember why too.
*Flashback* (5 years old)
"Honey, where is your pendant?" My mother asks me, with a little panic in her eyes.
"I'm holding it, it's so pretty," I say, studying the beauty of the palm-sized pendant in my hand. It was multi-coloured jewels on one side that sparkle in the sunlight and glow in the dark, and on the other side it is smooth gold.
"Honey, always keep that close to you, if you don't you might be in trouble," she says, a serious look on her face.
"How?" I say, tearing my eyes off of the pendant to look at her.
"You might become a bad person," she says, hugging me.
*Flashback over*
