Chapter 23

- Louis POV -

"Nathan and Tom?" Mira shouts.

"Y-yeah, they took me to the forest and threatened to kill me if I didn't tell them where Summer kept that coloured jewel thing, and then they said she was a vampire and she would belong to-" Ali gets cut off by Mira asking, "Did you tell them?"

"No, it old them to get lost and mind their own business. Then they hit me and I blanked out," Ali replies.

"THEY HIT YOU?!" Niall shouts, and we all stare at him. Niall never shouts.

"Yeah," Ali says, and there is an awkward silence.

"W-who are Tom and Nathan?" I ask, breaking the silence.

"Well, Tom used to be Summers best friend, then boyfriend, but he cheated on her with her for her other best friend, not Ali. And Nathan was my boyfriend that I broke up with two days ago," Mira replies. She begins to cry.

"W-what if they've found her?" She sobs.

"It's okay, we'll find her," I say, hugging her. Just then, Summer walks in.

"Summer!" We all shout, and Mira slowly looks up from the hug. Summer scans the room and her eyes land on me hugging Mira. Shock and hurt registers on her face. She walks over and sits next to Harry. I break the hug with Mira.

"What happened Summer?" Mira asks.

"Nothing, I'm fine!" She snaps, making us all stare. Yup, something has defiantly happened.

- Summers POV -

I walk into the living room where everyone is sitting. I scan everyone's relieved faces. My eyes then land on Mira and Louis hugging. Grrrrr. I feel so jealous right now... Well, two can play at that game. Something just snapped inside me. I thought he liked me. Maybe Tom was right. I feel the monster inside of me trying to get out.

Are Tom and Nathan doing this or is it just me?

I sit next to Harry, my now favourite person in the room. It was Ali, but I'm scared to get too close to her in case I lose control again. Then it was Louis, but he just proved to me the hugs he gave me were only friendly. Or was he trying to use me to get to my sister because I look like her so much? 'No,Louis would never do that,' a voice says in my head. Shut up! He's doing it right now.

"What happened?" Mira asks, concerned. Yeah, of course she is, she doesn't actually care about me, she probably knows I like Louis. 'It was only a friend hug! And she does care about you, she just doesn't show it very often,' that annoying voice in my head said again.

Shut up, I don't care what you say, Tom and Nathan are right!

'This isn't you Summer, they are controlling you, they are using your pendant'

"Nothing, I'm fine ," I snap. Wow, that was a tad harsher than I intended. No it wasn't she deserved it! Grrrrr....

They all stare at me. Oops. I suddenly get a thought. What if Tom and Nathan at watching me? They won't be very happy I've been so... Snappy. Also, what if I say something wrong? I need to check if their in this room.

I transform into cat and look around.

Sure enough, I see two grey figures standing at the doorway. I change back. So they weren't kidding when they said they would be watching me. I thought they were just doing it to act creepy or make me think they were actually watching so I wouldn't do anything.

"Can I get a hug Harry?" I ask him.

"Of course, love," he smiles, enveloping me in his strong arms. I hear a low growl coming from Louis direction. It takes everyone a second to realise that Louis just growled at me and Harry.

Louis eyes widen and he covers his mouth.

"Sorry," he whispers. He looks so small right now.

"It's okay," I sigh, glancing towards the doorway. A picture of me and my sister keeps moving.

"Errhmmmmm," I let out a rather loud fake cough. Suddenly it stops, but everyone is staring at me again.

"Sorry," I say, yawning. I feel really tired. I close my eyes and drift off into a nightmare.
