(A week later)
Annie;

"Aren't you going?" Katie asks while standing in front of me, referring to prom tonight.

"With who?" I ask, Ive had a secret little fantasy that Brennan would show up and ask me to prom and we would make up and everything would be better, but I know in my heart it won't happen.

"We'll Ive arranged someone to go with you" she laughs.
She's already done my makeup and put me in a dress, and as she goes to open the door my heart leaps, is it Brennan?

No, instead it's Haley's tutor, he's wearing a black tux and looks handsom, but not nearly as handsome as Brennan would.

At prom
Annie;

I look around the room to find Brennan standing against the wall, no date, my heart sinks, I had expected him to be dancing with all the girls In here.
After about two hours I get bored, Haley's tutor says we can go so I follow him out to his car.

When I get in he locks the doors, but I don't think much of it.

"Hello" a voice comes from the back and I turn to see luke.
I turn back to hayleys tutor knowing he was the person that like was saying would lead me to him "but I thought you saved me?" I gasped.
"All part of the plan" he smiled.
But what they didn't know was that there was a flaw in that plan, if Brennan wasn't going to save me I was going to have to save myself, and it was easy.
I simply moved very fast and unlocked the door, I started running and deserted my heels, the police officers at the front doors were still there.
The arrested both Luke and Haley's Tutor. But there was still no Brennan to be found.
