Chapter fifteen

*parties are never good*

Annie;

"I-i love you to" I breath, and let my lips meet his.
He smiles against my mouth and backs away.
"Alright, your free to go" the doctor walks in and says.
We check out of the hospital and get into Brennan's car, I let out a sigh of relief that I didn't know I was holding.
"So I was thinking we could go to liv's party tonight" Brennan says taking my hand in his and squeezing it.
I think for a moment, I don't know liv that well but I know she's popular.
"I guess" I shrug, "we don't have to go if you don't want to" he says.
"No it's fine, I'm just tired" I yawn.
He pulls into his driveway, I stretch and undo my seatbelt, hopping out of the car.
He takes my hand again and leads me in to the couch where he starts a movie, I lay with him, my head against his chest, and the rhythm of his heart beating slowly lulls me to sleep.

Three hours later Brennan has dropped me off at my house to get ready, I put on jeans and a sweater, I try not to stand out to much, but to not look like a bum either.
Before I know it Brennan is here and I run down to his car.
"You look beautiful" he greets, and I blush, I could get used to this Brennan.
After a twenty minute drive we arrive at the party, Brennan introduces me to some people before walking of with his friend Sam, I take a seat on the couch no one is sitting on.
After twenty minutes I get restless, I want to find Brennan but have no idea where anything is in this house.
I push my way through the crowd and a couple of people offer me red cups of alcohol but I reject them.
I keep on pushing until I spot a familiar face, katie is standing around a crowd of people, I pull her away and ask if she's seen Brennan, she says no and I scold for the red cup in her hand.
"Relax it's just water" she says and offers me a sip.
I'm glad when I don't taste a hint of alcohol and I walk off.
I come through part of the crowd to see Brennan on the steps talking to liv.
I'm not happy to see him talking to her, but I'm happy to see him.
I catch bits of there conversation.

"You won't tell her right?" Liv says.
"I don't kiss and tell" Brennan replies, my heart sinks, I run up to the steps and pull him down, I immediately start screaming about him cheating on me.
I'm done, I'm furious.
"I didn't kiss her! It's just an expression!" He yells.
But it's to late, my lips are already on the nearest boy, and that happens to be luke.
