Chapter 18

This is the party in Brennan's pov

Brennan;

I pull up to annies house and honk my horn, she comes out looking beautiful and I smile at her and she laughs as her cheeks become red.

When we get to the party I take her hand and guide her in, I introduce her to some of my friends, Sam and jack.
Multiple people offer us drinks but we both turn them away.
She finds katie and they begin talking, I tell her I be right back and head up the stairs to find my friend Matt.
I open the door of the room he's in to see him and liv waiting for me.
Liv is Matt's girlfriend, "what's she doing here?" I ask gesturing my hand to liv.
"C'mon dude I had to tell her, she thought I was cheating on her or something" he laughs.
I sigh and sit down in the chair, were here to plan a suprise party for annies birthday, she turns eighteen in a week.

After about an hour of party planning I realize I've left annie alone downstairs for a while and silently pray Katie's been watching her.
I run down the steps with liv and Matt behind me, I scan the room and don't see her anywhere.
"Don't tell anyone" I say to liv.
"I don't kiss and tell" she laughs and I raise my eyebrows at her expression.
That's when I see annie out of the corner of my eye.
She yells multiple thing at me but the music is blaring so I only here a few words, on of them being "cheater"
My eyes go wide as I realize what this must look like.
But it's to late, I can see the rage in her eyes and I know nothing good can come of this.
Before I can blink she has her lips on Luke's, I race down the rest of the steps and pull her away from him.
I feel like punching the wall.
Tears fill her eyes and I know what she's thinking.
I take my hand of her shoulder and run out to the car, she follows me but I lock the doors and drive away before she can get in.
I know her phones dead and I know exactly where she'll end up, so I head to Arden's house.
She confused when I knock on the door but she comes out anyway, and just in time I see annie running up the driveway.
I quickly kiss Arden and wipe my lips, "how's it feel?" I yell at annie and then run to my car and drive away.
I realize what I've done, how much I've messed up, and start to cry.
I sit there for about an hour before I see annie walking home.
A car is kind of following her but I'm not sure if I should get out and tell her.
Before I have time to react someone is shoving her into the trunk.
