   Y/N'S POV

  After I met with Killian, Happy offered to take me back to Tony's mansion.

  I shook my head and politely said,"No thank you, Happy. I will be fine, okay?"

  Happy nodded, and I kissed his cheek in thank you. Happy blushed and waved goodbye to me, before I drove back to Tony's house.
  I parked my car and got out before unlocking the door. I opened it and walked in to see Tony in his Iron Man suit, leaning back on the sofa.

  There was romantic music playing, and I giggled at Tony's lame gesture. I made my way over to the opposite sofa of the sofa he was sitting on and took off these heels that were killing my feet.
   I felt hands on my shoulders, and Tony started massaging them. I let out a sigh of relief and leaned into his touch.
I could tell he was smiling through that Iron Man armor.

  Tony said,"So, how was work?"

  I let out another sigh in relief at Tony massaging my shoulders, but then I smirked. I stood up and turned around to face Iron Man.

  I rested my hand on his mask and said,"So, why don't you lift up that mask and give me a kiss?"

  Tony messed with his suit and chuckled saying,"Uhh, sorry, no can do, babe. Why don't you just-"

  Tony suggested that I kiss his mask, which I did. I stayed there, which I knew drove him crazy.
  I laughed and pulled away, heading towards my room. Iron Man grabbed me, and I tried to escape Tony's grip.

  He pushed my hands down and said in pure disappointment,"What was that?!!!"

  I silently giggled but blankly said,"You told me to kiss your mask, so I did. Baby, I want a real kiss...I have been waiting all day."

  Iron Man chuckled, before he lifted his mask. I had to stand on my tippy toes just to kiss Tony. Tony kissed back and wrapped the arms of his suit around me.
  It annoyed me, because he was still in that suit. I pulled away and pouted at Tony.

  Tony smiled and held my chin saying,"Aww, you are so adorable. Here."

  Tony got out of his suit and pulled me close.

  He leaned in slowly and smirked saying,"Now, where were we? Oh, I remember."

  I blushed and kissed Tony back with so much love and desperation. Tony pulled me closer and intertwined his fingers with mine. I smiled in the kiss, while resting my hands on his face.

  Tony went to deepen the kiss, but I pulled away saying,"Sorry, baby, but not tonight. I am really exhausted and barely hanging on."

  Tony nodded and carried me up to our bedroom. I smiled and let him tuck me in, before he joined my side. Tony pushed me on my own side of the bed, but I quickly snuggled into him and wrapped my arms around his waist.

  Tony kissed my nose and said,"I love you, Y/N."

  I kissed Tony's jaw and said,"I love you, too, handsome. I love you, too."

  Tony sent me a once and a lifetime smile, before we both fell asleep in each other's arms.

   THE NEXT DAY

  Lately, Tony had been working non-stop and spent most of his time in his workshop.

  I made my way down and softly said,"Baby?"

  Tony hmmed in response and looked at me saying,"Yes, gorgeous? Is everything okay?"

  Tony motioned for me to come here, so I took a seat in his lap.

  I buried my face in his neck and mumbled,"What is going on with you? Baby, I miss you."

  Tony sighed and cupped my face saying,"You may have noticed that I do not spend as much time with you than down here fixing my suits."

  I nodded and held his hands saying,"I have noticed, Anthony. Tony, I am not angry with you. I am not going to leave you or anything either. I just want to know what is affecting you this heavily. Tell me...Fill me in on your pain."

  I stroked Tony's cheek lovingly and waited for his explanation.

  Tony looked me in the eyes saying,"Lately, I have not been able to get a lot of sleep, and I come down here every night. I cannot risk anything going wrong, because, honey, I need you. I do all this for one person and that is you, baby. I cannot lose you, and I want to protect you. I...I have to. I know I have been holding back because of what happened with Pepper, but I am done comparing you to her. I see how much it hurts you, and I am sorry."

  I leaned on Tony's shoulder saying,"Aww, Tony, I wish I could have known. I would have been here to reassure you otherwise. I am not her, okay? I am not going leave you, and I am not going to make you deal with your problems alone. I love you, Stark."

  Tony smirked and pecked my lips saying,"I love you, too, baby. What are you smirking for?"

  Wait for it. 2 pies hit Tony in the face, and he looked me dead in the eyes.

  He yelled,"GORGEOUS?!!"

   I got my laugh in and then ran for my life. Tony was hot on my heels, and I was not the best runner. Tony ended up tackling me and pinning me down. He leaned down and softly placed a kiss on my lips. I returned the short kiss and wrapped my arms around his waist. Tony pinched my side, as to which I did push him off of me.

  Tony chuckled and buried his face in my neck saying,"I am sorry, Y/N. Forgive me, baby?"

  Tony gave me puppy dog eyes, and I gave in saying,"Of course, Stark. I will always forgive you, no matter how many mistakes you make. I just love you that much."

  Tony looked away, and I knew he had tears in his eyes. I just smiled and kissed his cheek, before I hugged Tony tightly. Tony hugged back, and I just played with Tony's arc reactor.
