   Y/N'S POV

I sighed as I made my way towards my locker. I really hated going to school sometimes, but I knew I would need an education to be who I wanted to be when I grew up. Mom and Dad stressed that enough to me already, so it was about time I suck it up and dealt with it like a woman.
Once I made it to my locker, I put my books up from my first few classes of the day, before I grabbed the ones I would need for the last half of the day. When I did, someone touched my arm and I turned to see Peter.

"Peter, shouldn't you be on your way to class?"

Peter shook his head and said,"No. Not without you, I am not."

I smiled and held my books in my hands, before I began to make my way down the hallway with Peter.

Peter cleared his throat, and I chuckled saying,"Yes, Peter Parker?"

Peter took my books from me and stuttered saying,"Would you...would you...would you like to maybe go out sometime?"

I giggled and smirked asking Peter,"With you or one of your friends?"

Peter playfully rolled his eyes but motioned to himself and said,"With me, Y/N. With me. Would you like to go out sometime with me?"

I smiled and nodded saying,"I would love that, Peter. Yes, I would be honored to go out with you sometime. When is this sometime?"

Peter went to say something, but I realized we only had a minute and a half to get to class. I sent Peter an apologetic smile, before I ran into my class and sat down in my seat.
During my class, luckily, all we did was book work. Normally, I would hate doing that sort of thing, but it gave me time to think about what Peter meant by "sometime." What if it was today? Tomorrow? Next week? Uhh, I had to know.

Once the bell rang, I ran out of the classroom and ignored the confused and weird looks from other people around me. I spotted Peter and went to go towards him, but then Liz started talking to him. I stopped myself. I sighed and grabbed my book bag out of my locker, before I closed it back and made my way outside.

I would take the bus home, but I would rather not today. I decided to walk home, which was right around the corner from my school.
When I made it home, I opened the front door, and my mom and dad were sitting at the table talking.

Mom noticed me and smiled saying,"Hey, honey. How was school today?"

I put down my book bag and replied,"Fine. Peter asked me to go out with him sometime and I said yes, but I don't think he meant to ask me. Maybe Liz."

Mom frowned at me, and Dad said,"Good, then. I am not ready for you to be bringing any guys home yet. For your sake, I hope he meant Liz."

Mom hit Dad's shoulder and scolded him, before she turned to me saying,"Darling, I am sure Peter meant to ask you, if he asked you the first time. Wait, you said Liz? Is this the same Liz that stole your best friend from you and made her ignore you?"

I nodded and frowned at the reminder, but Mom immediately got up out of her chair and took my hand.

She led me upstairs, and I asked her,"Mom, what are you doing?"

Mom ignored me and dragged me into my room, before she made me sit down and said,"I am going to make you look pretty for your date."

I chuckled and grabbed Mom's arm saying,"Mom, I really appreciate this and I love you, but I don't even know if Peter meant today. He never did get to tell me when."

Mom just looked at me and headed over to my closer, before I asked her,"Did Peter come to you before he asked me at school?"

Mom looked back at me and handed me one of my best dresses, before she said,"Yes, Mr. Parker did come to me and ask me. I, of course, said yes and we talked about it. Now, you sit still, and I will pick out your outfit. Luckily for you, your mother has great taste and knows you very well. Do you want heels or no heels? Right, heels."

I smiled and changed into the red dress Mom gave me, before she put black heels in front of me.

I put on the heels before Mom put my hair up saying,"You look beautiful, honey. Peter will not be able to forget you. You wait here, while I go grab your purse."

I nodded and thanked Mom, before she waved it off and I smiled at myself in the mirror. I was wondering if Mom knew Peter was Spider-Man, but I could never know for sure. I felt someone tap my shoulder, and I turned to see Peter.

Peter said,"You...Wow, Y/N, you look completely stunning. I...I have never seen you in a dress before."

I blushed and said,"You look stunning, too. Parker, does Mom know you are-"

I had to do Peter's signature hand thing, because it always seemed like Mom could hear everything even if she was outside.

Peter sent me a smirk and pulled me close saying,"I don't know if I should tell you what you want to know. If she did, then I could go ahead and call her my mother-in-law."

I blushed madly and looked down saying,"Peter. Let's not jump to conclusions, okay? You jumped quite a few there. How do you even know we will work out?"

Peter lifted my chin saying,"Because I...I love you, Y/N, and I know you love me, too. Say, we do not work out, then we will find some way back to each other. You have always had my back, so I, Peter Parker a.k.a. Spider-Man, will have yours. Yes, she does know who I am."

I nodded and smiled at Peter, before he smiled back.

I went to kiss him, but Peter rested his hand on my cheek and said,"Not now. We still have a date to go on. Is your mom asleep?"

I shook my head, and Mom ran into the room.

Mom smiled at Peter and hugged him, before Peter hugged back and said,"Take care of my daughter, darling. Remember, she is way better than that Liz girl. Right, Y/N?"

I smiled at Mom, and Peter looked at me saying,"I know, Mrs. L/N. I know. Well, we better get going. It was nice to see you, Mrs. L/N. I promise to have her back before midnight."

Mom nodded and kissed my cheek, before Peter wrapped his arms around me and swung us out of my window. I noticed Mom leaning on my window and she waved at me, before I waved back and leaned on Peter's shoulder.
