   Y/N'S POV

When I received a call from my boyfriend, Harley Keener, late at night, I immediately began to panic. What was he calling so late for? What happened? What was going on? I pulled myself up and leaned against my headboard.

  I answered saying,"Yes, baby?"

  Harley said,"I...I need you."

By the sound of Harley's voice, this was no prank. I immediately let him know I was on the way and threw on a jacket, before I rushed out to my car. I drove to Harley's house, then I headed into the garage.
When Harley heard the garage door, he spotted me quickly. He rushed over to me and embraced me, sobbing into my neck.

I held him and said,"Hey, what's going on? What happened?"

  I rubbed Harley's back, and he replied,"He...He's gone. T...Tony. Mr. Mr. Stark, he's d...dead, Y/N."

Right after Harley told me, I broke into a sob myself. Mr. Stark was there for me, too, and this news didn't feel real yet. I was waiting for Harley to stop sobbing and tell me this was some messed up joke, but he never did. He just continued to sob and plead for me not to leave him.
That was when it hit me that all of this was happening. Mr. Stark was gone, and I never got the chance to thank him for getting me out of trouble. Harley and I both held one another, until his mother found the two of us. I stayed with Harley, and there was no way I was leaving him alone.

...

Today was Tony's funeral. Pepper reached out to Harley and I, as to which I thanked her for letting us come. After I got dressed, I walked into Harley's bedroom and sat down on his bed.
He was staring into the mirror and trying to fix his tie, but he wasn't really paying attention to what he was doing. I just stood to my feet and walked over to him.

I gently moved his hands and fixed his tie, before I asked him,"You ready?"

He looked down at me and rested his forehead against my own saying,"N...No. You're gonna stay the whole time, right, with me?"

I nodded and kissed him softly. He returned my kiss and held on for a while.

He slowly pulled away, and I said,"Of course. Tony was important to me, too. Let's go. We don't want to be late."

Harley took my hand and kissed it, before we headed to Tony's funeral. It seemed like everyone was here. Heroes I never got the chance to meet, but I heard about them every single day.
Harley kept a hold of my hand, and we greeted everyone. Then, Harley and I stood in the back.

...

After the funeral was over, Pepper walked up to us and said,"Thank you both for coming. I know Tony helped both of you. If you ever need anything, just let me know, okay?"

We both nodded and Pepper hugged us both, before she motioned to Morgan. I nodded, and Harley went with Pepper.

When Morgan spotted me, she ran up to me and hugged my leg.

I felt her tears against my leg, and I said,"Hey, Morgan, everything's going to be okay. Morgan..."

I crouched down to her level, and she sniffed saying,"I miss him."

I cupped her face and said,"I miss him, too, more than you'll ever know.  You aren't alone, Morgan. All these people cared about your father, and they will be here for you. I'm here for you. One day, you're going to be amazing, and your father is smiling down at you right now. Even though he's not here beside you, he's still with you on the inside."

Morgan hugged my neck, and I kissed her cheek saying,"I love you."

  Morgan mumbled,"I love you too."

I held her for a while, until I gave her to Pepper. Harley took my hand again, and Pepper headed inside with Morgan in her arms.

As I stood beside Harley, I asked him,"Why do you think Tony let you help him?"

Harley replied,"I don't know, but I'm glad he did. He helped me out. He helped you out. I wish he was still here so I could thank him again, but we just have to make sure we have each other."

I hugged Harley's waist and replied,"I've got your back, Harley. Always."
