Wolverine x Reader

Hey, lovely readers! I just wanna say that I appreciate all your love and support since the beginning!! I know my book isn't the best one out there, but it's worth it for you guys!! I hope everyone knows how much it means to me to do this, and I intend on doing this for a long time!! I will always love you guys and be grateful for your respect. Since my birthday is this weekend, I don't know if I'll be able to update. That probably won't stop me, but I'm just putting it out there in case I don't update again this weekend!! You guys make each and every day better for me, so this is more of a thank you!! Love you all, and I hope your lives will get better for those of you just struggling right now! We all have been there and will be there at some point in our lives.

   Y/N'S POV

  As I sat down on my bed inside this dynamic school, someone knocked gently on my door.

  I yelled,"COME IN!!!"

  When the door opened, it was Storm or Ororo, my big sister. I smiled and walked over to her, before I pulled her in for a hug.

  Ororo hugged back and kissed my cheek saying,"I love you, too, sis. What is going on? The Professor said you did not come to teach the class, while he went to the meeting."

  I looked down at the ground saying,"Nothing is wrong, Ororo. I...I am just not up for it today."

  Ororo held my face and looked into my E/C eyes saying,"You are lying to me, Y/N. I promised I would take care of you, and that is what I am going to do. Is this about what happened with Jean?"

  I sighed and nodded, before Ororo wrapped her arms around me and softly said,"Tell me what happened, honey."

  I could not find the words to tell Storm what had happened. 

  I rested my head on Ororo's shoulder, while she rubbed my back and kissed my forehead saying,"It will be all right, Y/N. I will be right here to help you, okay? Tell me: Does Logan know about it?"

  "No, he...he already has a weak spot for Jean, so I did not bother to tell him. I was afraid he would just accuse me of lying and think differently of me."

  "No, Logan would never think differently of you, my dear sister. He loves you, and he wants to do everything in his power to protect you.  Trust me, I see it, darling. Do you need anything?"

  I nodded and asked my sister,"Can you hand me that blanket please, Storm?"

  Ororo smiled at me using her hero name, before she handed me a blanket.

  I laid down and wrapped the covers around myself, and Ororo kissed my cheek saying,"I will be right out the door, if you need me. I love you, Y/N."

  I kissed her cheek and replied back saying,"I love you, too, Ororo. Thank you."

  Ororo nodded and gave me one last look, before she stepped out to check on the students. I slowly got out of bed and walked out to the terrace, before I enjoyed the open scenery. I felt a comforting breeze and smiled, knowing Ororo was responsible for the breeze. 
  After about an hour of enjoying the view, I heard a familiar motorcycle engine enter the school grounds. I left out of my room. As I walked by, I passed Bobby and he sent me worried eyes.

  I waved it off and said,"I am fine, Bobby, really."

  Bobby just nodded and went to find Rogue. Once I made it downstairs, I spotted Logan talking to Jean.

  I made my way into the kitchen, before I heard a familiar voice say,"Something troubling you, Y/N?"

  I grabbed some orange juice and sat down next to the Professor.

  He put his hand over mine and said,"Y/N, you will always have a special place in Logan's heart. He may have had history with Jean, but he would never cross that line again. Do not sell yourself short, Y/N."

  I nodded, and The Professor kept me distracted with what he thought I should teach for the next few weeks.
  I put my hand on the Professor's shoulder in thank you, before I headed towards the front door. Logan was still talking to Jean, and I took in what the Professor said to me.

  I could feel him enter my mind, as he said,"Everything will be all right. Just be patient and the kind woman we know and love.."

  I smiled at his words, before Jean noticed me. She immediately rolled her eyes, but I refused to let that get to me.

  Once Logan noticed me, he immediately smiled and softly said,"Darlin'."

  My heart melted every time Logan called me that, and I never wanted him to stop.
  I made my way over to Logan, and he immediately pulled me closer to him.

  He smiled down at me and held my chin saying,"I have missed ya so much, darlin."

  Logan pecked my lips and said,"Your sister told me about how ya have been feeling lately. I want ya to know somethin darlin. No matter how far I am, you are always gonna be the one who I will come home to. I love ya with all my heart and nothing will change that. Understand?"

  I nodded and said,"I understand. I love you with all my heart, too, Logan. I also love it when you call me "darlin.'" It helps my self-esteem."

  Logan laughed and smiled softly at me saying,"I did not know that, darlin, but I will keep that in mind."
