    Y/N'S POV

  "Y/N, what do you think you're doing? Father did not tell you you could be on Asgard. I thought you were banished long ago."

  The great and mighty Thor Odinson questioned me, yet I always wondered what was behind all that muscle and arrogant exterior?
 
  He watched me, as I held my glass saying,"How great it is to see you, too, Thor. It seems like it has been years since we last saw each other!!"

  Thor angrily yelled,"YOU MEAN SINCE YOU TOOK MY BROTHER'S HEART AND BROKE IT! ALSO, TURNING HIM INTO SOMETHING ELSE! I REMEMBER, LADY Y/N!!"

  I chuckled and said to Thor,"You're not wrong on that one, Thor. Why do you always put "Lady" in front of my name? It makes me feel old."

  Thor rolled his eyes and grabbed my arm saying,"We're going to Father. Now. You're not staying here."

  I acted hurt, before Odin walked in the room. I bowed to him, as did Thor.

  Thor said,"Father, how could you let this woman into Asgard, aware of the treason she once committed against our people!!"

  Odin looked at his son saying,"Sometimes, I forget where your manners have gone, my son, but I can assure you that Y/N means no harm. She is just here to see Loki, and that is all. Right, Y/N?"

  I nodded saying,"Right. Well, I should go see him now. Your Majesty. Thor."

  I bowed to Odin but smirked at Thor when Odin turned around. I chuckled and walked out of the room, before I stopped near one of the balconies.
 
  One of the guards walked up to me, before he said,"M'lady, Prince Loki wishes to see you at once. In front of the kingdom."

  I nodded and thanked the guard, then I grabbed his arm saying,"He doesn't know, does he? I told you I had this covered."

  The guard chuckled and turned into my father, who said to me,"I know you do, but I'm worried your sudden feelings for him may get in the way of our plan. You remember your assignment, don't you?"

  I nodded and asked Father,"What do you mean by "sudden feelings?"

  Father looked at me saying,"When you look at me with those eyes, I am reminded of your mother. The whole reason I wanted you to meet Prince Loki was to fall in love with him, weaken his senses, so he would be an easy target to get rid of when the time came for us to rule Asgard. Now, even with all the darkness that is within you, you have begun to doubt your duties when it comes to him."

  I said,"Father, I won't fail."

  Father chuckled and stood beside me saying,"All right, but if you should fall back with the plan. If anything goes wrong, you know what happens."

  I stayed quiet, and Father said,"Go see him."

  I nodded to Father, before I walked towards the stairs and jogged down them.
  Once I made it to the bottom and outside, I spotted Loki sitting at one of the fountains.

  Loki noticed me and smiled saying,"Hey, My Queen."

  I smiled saying,"Hey, Loki. Why did you want to meet me?"

  I walked to Loki, before he pulled me close.

  Loki rested his hand on my face, and I leaned into his hand. I was starting to believe what Father told me. Many of the moments I had with Loki I faked through most of them, because he was always just my mission I had to accomplish in order to impress my father.
  Father had a grudge against Odin and Asgard, but he never told me why. The whole plan was for me to meet Loki, get close to him, make him fall in love me, completely break his heart, and then be able to take over Asgard. This was one of the smaller parts of Father's plan, so why did it seem so hard now?

 
  Loki said,"What's the matter?"

  I looked down saying,"Nothing, Loki. I just-I missed you."

  Loki lifted my chin and asked me,"Did you really mean that?"

  I don't know. Did I mean that?

  I thought about it and began to think about if I was able to go through with this plan any longer. Father would be impressed with me and take over Asgard. If I failed, Father would shun me, never let me come back home, and Loki wouldn't be heartbroken. It wouldn't be the last time I saw him. Did I love him enough to not go through with the plan?

  For some reason, tears formed in my eyes. I think it was because I was stuck and nervous of what would happen to me, if I didn't do what Father asked of me.

  Loki cupped my face and looked me in the eyes saying,"Darling, you're just as good as me with hiding your pain and letting your anger out on others, but I don't want you to act this way towards me. I actually want to help you. What is it? Is it about my brother, Thor?"

  I shook my head and rested my hands over his saying,"L...Loki, I don't want to hurt you. I...I..."

  Loki said,"I know, Love. I know. Your Father wanted you to hurt me. I've always known."

  I looked at him confused, and he said,"You're not the only one who knows a thing or two about getting revenge on someone. I'm not upset with you, darling."

  I said,"LOKI, YOU SHOULD BE! I'VE BASICALLY BEEN USING YOU THIS WHOLE TIME, AND YOU ARE OKAY WITH THAT?!! NO, YOU SHOULDN'T BE! YOU SHOULD BE TELLING ME HOW MUCH YOU HATE ME AND HOW YOU NEVER MEANT ANYTHING YOU SAID TO ME!!"

  Loki squeezed my hands saying,"But I meant every word and the fact that you hesitated before you came to see me, it told me something, Y/N. I've been through many things, but losing you is not something I want to add to that list. Y/N, I love you. Can you not keep pretending and be honest with me: Do you really love me?"

  I nodded saying,"I do. I just...I'm so sorry, Loki. If I would have known what it felt like to have someone and actually be loved, I wouldn't have...I wouldn't have messed with you like that, Loki. I'm so, so, so sorry. Please forgive me. Please."

  Tears fell down my face, before Loki hugged me.

  I hugged him back, and he said,"It's okay. No more pretending, all right? No more lies. Only honesty, okay? I'll work on it with you. Deal?"

  I smiled through my tears saying,"Deal. What about my father?"

  Loki said,"Don't worry about him. Odin took care of him. He's okay. I told you I knew, so don't get nervous. He won't come after you. I'll make sure of that. I love you, My Queen."

  I chuckled saying,"I love you, too, My King. When is our wedding? Green will be our main color. It's so mischievous. Get it?"

  Loki chuckled saying,"One step at a time, My Queen. One step at a time, but I like the way you think."
