It had been 15 hours, exactly, since I got here.
I was asleep for longer than I thought and wound up waking up around 1. Of course the first thing I did was scavenge the place for a pack of cigs. When I found them I lit one up and held it up to my lips, feeling it burn my lungs and bring me closer to death. I then made coffee and chugged down the whole kettle before going on to 2 more cigs.
If you're wondering why I'm so calm about everything, it's because the contents of my coffee were 80 percent whiskey & 20 percent coffee. This time it wasn't just the heat burning my throat when I chugged it all down.
So far, I'd gotten twenty fucking two missed calls from Chris. Five from Taylor. 11 from Hayden. 14 from Andy (Biersack by the way). And 7 from Ricky. It wasn't until the first one from Delilah's phone that I picked up.
"You're awake?!" I practically yelled into the phone. "Yea, it wasn't that bad, where are you?" She asked. "In some house on a private beach." I sighed. "Some private beach." I heard her say. "Don't come for me." I growled. "Amy please. We need to know your okay." She sighed. "I need to getaway." I said. "Not like this you don't." She mumbled. I hung up and threw my phone against the wall.
When I heard footsteps outside I hurried to get my phone and left everything else before jumping out the window. Even I know they couldn't have been here that quick.
Owners, of course. They were yelling and cussing while I was sat behind the house, feeling a few sprinkles of water make their way onto my face before the whole storm.
It was worse than last night- it was hailing, thundering and the rain was coming down hard.
I hugged myself and began walking to the nearest street. As I was walking a huge chunk of hail landed with a thud on my head, making black out a bit. By now I was stumbling to the nearest shelter I could find and then I found myself alone and under a tree.
I reached up to my head and touched the already huge bump with my fingers and then sighed when I brought my hand down and got to see my own blood.
After an hour of arguing myself about what to do I ran out of choices.
Hayden and Taylor both came skidding to a stop in a car and then running towards me.
"Are you okay?!" Hayden demanded. "N-n-no." I shivered. Taylor took his jacket off and threw it around my shoulders while Hayden picked me up and carried me to the car, lying me down carefully and letting me rest my head on his lap.
I was zoning it and out of consciousness involuntarily, only hearing partial sentences and seeing only shapes and figures and gleams of light.
"Is she okay?" Taylor's voice echoed. A few muffled words came from Hayden that I couldn't make out. Amongst the conversation between the two the only words I could make not of were "blood" , "call Chris", "blankets", and "cold."
Eventually I felt Hayden pick me up again and I found myself back on the bus. There was muffled noises arguing and movement that was only making me feel like there was something pounding against my skull.
I felt someone pick me up again and wrap me in blankets and lay a warm rag on my head before placing me gently on the bed and turning off the light. I felt the bed shift due to added weight and then felt someone hovering above me.
"I'm so sorry... I love you." Chris's voice was muffled and sounded like a whisper, but I heard it right.
