"Kerri, I didn't cheat on her! Why are you accusing me of this?" Luke shouted.

"I'm not saying you cheated on May, what I'm saying is that you should of told me that your damn girlfriend is pregnant! You do realize how bad this looks for you, right?!"

"I love Caroline! I am taking responsibility for getting her pregnant! But there ain't no way in hell that I'm allowing myself to be accuse of something!"

Caroline groaned. Why did she have to be woken up? She slowly got up and tiredly walked out of the bunk area. "What's going on?"

Luke turned from Kerri and a slight smile appeared on his face. "Nothing, baby. Just an argument."

Caroline yawned before falling into Luke's arms. "A pretty loud argument. It woke me up."

"Hey, it's fine. We didn't mean to wake you. Why don't you go back to bed?"

"What time is it?" Caroline questioned groggily.

Luke checked his watch. "It's about ten at night. I'll be in there in a moment, go sleep."

Caroline yawned once again and went back to bunk area. Luke then turned to face Kerri again. "Okay, I'm sorry about waking her."

"You better be," Luke grumbled.

Kerri sighed. "Well, you're the boss, so you call the shots. I'll get an interview for you, so that you can explain the true story. Also, I kill the rumours."

"That's all I was asking for, now go back to your boss. I need to apologize to Caroline for waking her."

"Ignoring what I said earlier, you really are a good boyfriend, Luke," Kerri complimented him.

"Thanks, Kerri. Now, please get off my bus."

Once she left, Luke turned off the lights and went back to the bunk area. He spotted Caroline, sleeping soundly. What was he gonna do? Kerri was right, her being pregnant was career ruining. But... he didn't care. If he had to leave his career for Caroline, he would. Still, something told him that a darker storm was coming. That thought never left his mind. How will he be able to rid it?

Luke turned to face Carter's bunk, shaking him awake. Carter looked at him, confused and groggy. "Luke, go to sleep."

"I can't," he whispered. "Something's bad is gonna happen, I can feel it."

"What kind of bad?" Carter questioned. "Actually, I don't have time for this. Go to sleep."

If Carter wasn't gonna be any help, someone else would be. Luke just couldn't shake the feeling that something was gonna go down with this interview Kerri was talking about. He couldn't help but think that Caroline will break it off with him. Or worse, her dad not approving of him.

Luke slowly slipped into his bunk, closing his eyes. Maybe it was just a feeling. Maybe nothing bad was going to happen. Maybe Luke was just being paranoid. That had to be it. He was just paranoid.

The next morning, Caroline woke up to an awful text from her father. Something she didn't expect. Who's this Luke person? How in the hell did he even know about Luke? Was it the tabloids? And how was it that her father just knew it was her? There are many girls in the world with the name Caroline Boyer it wasn't exactly an uncommon name.

"Caroline, is it true?" her father said as he answered the phone.

"Daddy, I love him," Caroline said. "I know what you read, he's not a cheater. We met after his wife died, I promise."

"But you're pregnant?" he questioned her.

Caroline could feel the blood drain from her face. "Yes, I am. And he's been so good about it, Daddy. He's owning up to it. He understands his mistake."
