Sinbad awoke early the next morning, with an overly-paranoid mind. He hadn't been able to sleep well at all that night being scared that his daughter would be taken again. The sun barely shone through the windows, and illuminated the room in a pink glow. Kicking off the covers, the king speed-walked to the next room over. Being quiet, as to not wake the sleeping child, he peered in. His eyes widened and panic took over his body as he saw Ada was gone. His first thought was to tell his Viceroy. He went to the younger man's room as fast as he could, yelling Ja'far's name as he entered. Sinbad calmed down as he saw Ja'far stir awake along with a much smaller figure curled up next to him.
"Sin.." the white-haired man groaned, sitting up and rubbing his eyes. "What's the matter?" He asked looking up at his king with a bored expression. Ada peered at her father through squinted eyes, trying to make out his figure in the faint light. Sinbad let out a sigh of relief upon seeing Ada's small frame. Ja'far followed the king's golden eyes that had fixated themselves on the small girl. Ja'far let a small smile across his face. He understood what was going on. He settled his grey eyes onto the kings golden ones.
"Don't worry." Ja'far started. "She's fine." Sinbad turned to look at him and let out a hearty laugh.
"I can see that. Nevermind then, go back to what you were doing." The king turned and walked out of the doorway. Ja'far sighed. There was no way he was getting back to sleep now. He turned to face Ada who's piercing golden eyes looked back at his, fully awake.
"You should go back to your room..." Ada looked blankly as Ja'far spoke and shook her head stubbornly. Ja'far smirked at the girl. "If you get dressed fast enough, you can help me with my work." Her best friend pressed. The child's eyes lit up and she dashed out of the room and to her own. Ja'far let out a chuckle before getting out of bed himself.
Ada struggled to put on the dress that was provided for her, but eventually succeeded...at putting it on backwards... Ada let out a frustrated sigh. Her father stood in the door way, letting out a slight snicker at the girl's antics, before heading over to help her.
With her dress on right, Ada sat still as her older look-alike tugged at her hair.
"So..." her father paused for just a second. "What are you in a hurry to get dressed for?" He asked with a slight smirk. Ada answered him proudly."Ja'far said if I get dressed fast enough, I can help him!" Ada announced to Sinbad, who just smiled. They may look alike, but they certainly didn't act alike.
"Hey Ada, later today, lets go into town?" Sinbad asked. Ada nodded frantically. She would LOVE to spend time with her father.
