All through Breakfast, Ada was dying to go on an adventure. While the palace had it's fun moments, things got pretty repetitive there. So, the girl decided it was time to go to town! It would be a difficult task. Ada had to sneak passed EVERYBODY. If anyone caught her, it was game over, she wouldn't be able to go exploring...And what fun is that?
A mischievous smile made it's way to the girl's face. It was time to play ninja! Her first mission was to pass her father and Ja'far. She sucked in a breath before approaching the door the two were talking behind. Ada pressed her back against the wall, and peeked in through the crack between the door and the frame, to make sure that they weren't paying attention. The child somersaulted passed the opening. She didn't really make it without Ja'far noticing...But she thought she did. She shuffled down the hall, not noticing when the door she had just passed opened, revealing her father and Ja'far.
Of course, Ja'far was far more suspicious of her actions than Sinbad, so he took it upon himself to follow her. The silver-haired man trailed her (much more stealthily than Ada), as she sneaked through the halls, and eventually made it to the gates. Ja'far inwardly groaned. Of course this was her plan. The small girl made it out and towards the town, with the silver-haired assassin following not far behind.
Ada made it to town fairly quickly. She heard a few mumbles from the citizens as they passed her about how they 'saw her with Sinbad the other day', though the girl, of couse, paid them no attention. The young child hummed happily, oblivious
to the man following her and glaring daggers at the back of her head. He didn't want to stop her from exploring, though, this had certainly put a halt to his other plans for the day...why did she have to be so adventurous? Ja'far let out a sigh. She definitely gets it from Sinbad.Ada wandered to the docks, where she could look out to the water. Her eyes lit up as she watched the sun bounce off the sea. Grey eyes watched her curiously, as she reached down and touched the water.
Back at Sindria, the king wandered around the palace, looking for his viceroy and daughter, instead of doing his work. Where on earth could they be? Panic set in as he searched falrantically for his daughter. He knew she was probably with Ja'far, but after everything that had happened, how could he not be worried?
The young princess giggled as a fish swam over to nibble her finger. A soft smile made it's way to Ja'far's lips. Ada stood up abruptly and started to walk back towards the town. Today was a day to explore, after all.
But little did the two know, there was someone else following the young child.
