The sun illuminated the room in an orange glow, as Ada's golden eyes fluttered open and slowly adjusted to the light. She slid, or more of tumbled out of the over-sized bed and stumbled over to the door. The girl wandered aimlessly around the barren halls, looking for her father, or anyone to talk to at this point. It seemed as though anytime she spotted someone, they would quickly dismiss her and run off. Were they avoiding her?
The girl didn't feel like having breakfast that morning. Besides, if nobody wanted to see her, why should she inconvenience them? So, instead, Ada walked towards the garden, Maybe the plants would want to talk to her.
When In the garden, she sat down in front of a pink flower, and hugged her knees to her chest, She took a deep breath and started talking to the small plant.
"Hello mister flower..." She started, before a voice caught her off guard.
"Hi, Ada! What are you up to!?" Ada's eyes widened as she stuck her face closer to the flower and whispered.
"Mister flower... Did you just talk?" The girl looked at the flower expectantly, before hearing a laugh.
"It wasn't the flower!" Ada turned her head to see Aladdin standing behind her, laughing. Ada huffed and turned away angrily.
"Aren't you gonna ignore me like everybody else?" Ada questioned him with annoyance clear in her voice. Aladdin sat down next to her, a big smile still on his face.
"Nah, I thought I'd come play with you." Aladdin turned to her. Ada whipped her head back to look at him with wide eyes. A large smile made it's way to the girl's lips as she jumped up and cheered. Finally! Someone was going to play with her!
"What are we gonna play!?" Ada asked as the boy stood up in thought.
"I know! You ever been on a magic carpet?" He asked her. Ada's mouth went agape and she shook her head vigorously. The blue-haired boy laughed as he pulled off his turban, throwing it into the air and sat on it. He held his hand out to Ada, and helped her up as well. The Magi pulled the girl into his lap, to keep her in place.
"Hold on tight!" He told the child as they took off. Ada grasped The boy's arms tightly as the earth became further and further away. Ada peered over the edge with a look of pure awe.
"Pretty neat, huh?" Aladdin asked her calmly. The girl looked up at him and nodded slowly, unable to properly answer. She stared at the ground below them, taking note of how tiny all the people were.
Aladdin quickly pulled her away from the edge and back into his lap. Ada giggled and stayed in place for the rest of the ride.
