"What!?" Ja'far shouted at Sinbad, His arms move about to make a point as he directs his eyes at an uninterested king. "Honestly Sin! She's a kid! You should have been watching her in the first place! Not to mention you were on the docks! What is she had fallen in and drown!?" Sibad went to say something, but was interrupted. Ja'far was scolding the man who wasn't really paying attention to his friend's ranting at him, but instead his golden eyes looked out the window, watching as Sharrkan and Ada practiced swordplay in the courtyard. 'Since when is Sharrkan teaching her to use a sword?' he wondered absentmindedly.

Out in the courtyard Sharrkan was knelt down adjusting Ada's grip on the wooden sword. He stood up and smirked at the young princess.

"Alright kid, now that you've got your stance; you're going to learn how to block." He showed Ada some of the most basic blocks she would learn, and how she would properly position herself while using them. Ada mimicked his moves to the best of her abilities. Sharrkan told her how to adjust herself to more efficiently. From holding her sword higher, to bringing her feet together, Ada went from a blocking position to her beginning stance over and over.

As the day passed and the sun was setting, the same thing that had happened yesterday, happened again. Ja'far came and told her it's time for bed, she said goodnight to Sharrkan, then she told Ja'far all about what she learned on her way to bed.She would be happy if this was her new routine.

Ada sat in her room, wide awake. The sun was long gone. She was talking to the stars that littered the sky about how Sharrkan is teaching her how to fight and about how she saved the stray dog from the mean man, and how her father then saved her. She desperately hoped that her mother was listening as she talked about how much she loves being with her father and Ja'far. her smile widened as she told her mother about how the silver-eyed man told her that she's his best friend.

Missing her mother more and more as she talked to her, Ada decided to try and get closer to her, so she went to the balcony and pulled herself onto the roof. The purple-haird girl sat down and stared off into the night. In the distance, clouds could be seen heading towards Sindria, but she didn't think too much of it. Being outside in the night air soothed the small child. The wind blew her hair into her golden eyes. She giggled and pushed it out of her face, before a terrible...Terrible realization hit her. She didn't know how to get down.

Panic spread through her as she looked at the clouds. They were nearing ever closer. A storm was coming this way. And fast. Her heartbeat rapidly increased as she looked around. It's too dark to make it to the tree, she would surly fall. And even if she could make it to the tree she used to scare Sinbad and Ja'far earlier, She probably would have hurt herself the first time if Ja'far hadn't caught her.

The wind had started to pick up. The cold, salty air knocked Ada off balance. She let out a scream, before regaining her balance. She then decided it would be best to crawl.

Ja'far looked out the window, as he was getting ready for bed. 'Looks like a storm's coming.' he thought to himself. He was about to turn away when he heard a scream. His eyes widened and looked out the window again, where he saw a small blur the he recognized as Ada. His felt relief as he noticed her catch her balance. But he still had to get her down. He jumped onto the roof, making a run towards Ada. It had started to rain now. It was pouring harder by the second.

Ada curled into a ball as she started to cry. She was so scared. After just a couple of second she felt arms pick her up and start moving quickly across the roof. She looked up to see her silver-eyed friend carrying her to safety. The tears started again as she buried her face into his shirt. She felt his arms grip her just a little tighter.

"Honestly, Ada..." He started as he entered his room with the girl. "You'd think you would stop going on the roof..." He finished, giving the girl a stern look that she didn't see, with her face still in his shirt. He sighed and tried to set her down, but her grip on him only tightened.

"There there. You're alright now." He said, as he sat down on his bed. He rocked back and forth with her and stroked her purple hair until she fell asleep, which wasn't long seeing as she was supposed to be in bed a long time ago. He then let out another sigh and laid down, with the girl still tightly In his arms.

"Goodnight, Ada." He mumbled, pulling the covers over the two of them and falling asleep with her.
