Ada woke up, smiling. She practically fell out of bed and ran to her door. When she excitedly opened the door, she saw her father. He had his hand outstretched and looked like he was about to open her door. Ada puffed out her cheeks, quite unhappy with the identity of the first person she saw that morning.
"Morning, Ada!" He happily cheered. Ada crossed her arms and pushed past him, with a 'hmph.' Sinbad just sighed."Alright, Ada...what do I have to do to get you to forgive me?" The king asked, spinning around and kneeling to his daughters height. Ada thought for a second, before replying.
"I'll...think about it..." She told him coldly, as she marched off. The golden-eyed man hung his head in defeat.
After turning the corner, Ada smirked. Truth is, she was in such a good mood that morning, she had already forgiven her father for his betrayal. However, Ada couldn't just let him off the hook.
She ran as fast as she could to the garden and started to make the prettiest flower crown she could. She had to finish it before Ja'far made her dressed and go to breakfast. The flowers on it had a plethora of colors and sizes by the time she finished.
Ada put it around her neck just as Ja'far (who never seemed to have trouble finding her at times like these) came to make her get ready for breakfast. She nodded and happily ran to her room.At breakfast Ada smiled to herself, seeing her father still sulking. She quickly put on a blank face and walked to her usual seat in between her father and best friend. Sinbad was was happy to see she didn't hate him enough to switch seats with his vicroy today, but she still stayed quiet.
"I know what you can do." The princess said monotone and looked up at her father, who looked down at her. His eyes lit up a bit.
"Oh yeah, what's that?"He asked her with a smirk. Ada stood up on her seat and pointed at him.
"Is daddy sorry, for being a stupid head!?" She asked rather loudly. This got everyone's attention. The whole table was starring at the two by this point. Sinbad was slightly shocked, but quickly answered anyways.
"Yes...I'm sorry." He answered, looking at Ada.
"For...?" Ada said sternly.
"For...being a stupid head...?" Sinbad more of questioned than stated. Ada nodded triumphantly and plopped back down. The table was now laughing. Even Ja'far was having trouble holding in a laugh.
"Fine." Ada said rather irritably, staring her faher down. "I'll forgive you. But only because mommy says I should forgive everyone." She continued to glare at Sinbad, who really felt bad now.
"Yeah..." Sinbad replied looking away. Ada's straight face started to break as she tried to keep from laughing. Her lips started to twitch as she lost control. The king looked at her oddly as she started to laugh. She looked up at him with a bright smile and took the flower crown off of her neck.
"I love you, daddy!" She cheered happily, as she stood on her tip toes to place the creation on his head.
