When the pair finally made it home, the sun was setting. Though the palace was illuminated with colorful lights and crowds of people. Ada's eyes sparkled with excitement.
She had spotted her father, who waved to the two as they landed, calling his young daughter over. The girl waved goodbye to Aladdin, whom she had taken a liking to, and ran towards the older man. Aladdin smiled to himself and left to find Alibaba and Morgiana.
"I see you've become friends with Aladdin." The king stated leaning down to Ada's size.
"Yeah! He's really nice and super fun!" She told her father. A slight pink made it's way to her already rosey cheeks, which didn't go unnoticed by the king. Sinbad tried desperately to hide laugh. Ada then suddenly realized she was mad at him.
"Why didn't you, or anybody else want to play with me today!?" She yelled at the man. Who simply smiled at her.
"We couldn't let you know about your party. " The kind told her simply. The young child's eyes widened.
"My...party...?" Ada asked more to herself than her father. Her eyes started to wander and she looked around, a smile reforming on her face. She jumped up and down. How exciting! A party! And everyone in Sindria was there!
His daughter jumped into her fathers arms, hugging him tightly and thanking him. He hugged her gently back.
Not long after, Ada's shyness returned. The king had announced her arrival to the entire kingdom, and now all these strange people knew who she was it was a weird feeling. However, Ada didn't take long to get over it, and go have fun.
She watched in awe as the dancers swayed. It reminded her of her mother, and admittedly made her quite happy. She even watched with her new friend, Aladdin, and her friend Alibaba as Morgiana went on stage and danced. It looked like she was having such a good time! But alas, all good things must come to an end.
It was getting late, and though the party was in full swing, it was time for the young child to sleep.
Ja'far easily found Ada, and escorted the girl to her room. She put on her night gown and crawled into bed. The assassin tucked her in, and kissed her forehead gently. She let out a giggle.
Not twenty minutes after Ja'far had left the room, the purple-haired girl remembered something. Something that, to her, was very important.
"I need to say goodnight to daddy..." She mumbled to herself and tumbled out of the bed and to the door to find him. She didn't realize that would be such a bad idea.
She turned a corner, when she stopped dead in her tracks. There before her stood her father. But not just him. He had two female dancers clinging to him and they were all laughing. She just stood there, not saying anything, not moving, without a clue as to what she should do.
"Ada...?" She heard Ja'far's voice, but she didn't bother to turn around. Ja'far's silver eyes widened as he noticed what she was starring at, the soft whimpers finnaly reached his ears.
"Ada!" He said again, this time a bit more frantic. He gently grabbed her shoulder and spun her to face him, kneeling to her level. Her golden eyes were flooding with tears as she looked at the ground in front of her.
"Ja'far..." she started, meeting his snake-like eyes. "Daddy...never loved mommy...did he...?"
