Chapter 36

Ada woke up with the sun. She was going to leave for Kou today! The girl was practically jumping up and down with excitement as she threw on the dress and backpack and ran out of her room, straight to the dining hall.

They were eating breakfast early today, and the four were leaving right after.

After everyone was finished eating, Ada, Aladdin, Alibaba, Morgiana, Sinbad, Ja'far and the rest of the eight generals  started walking towards the docks. Ada walked in between Ja'far and Sinbad, holding hands with both of them.

Upon reaching the docks, Ada's excitement died at the relization that she had to leave her father and best friend behind.

"Come on Ada!" Aladdin called excitedly. Ada hesitated for a moment before turning to her father and raising her arms, asking him to pick her up. He did so and she wrapped her arms around the man's neck in a hug, pulling away to kiss his nose.

"I love you daddy." She told him. He tightened his grip around her.

"I love you too. Good luck!" He told her with a grin, before passing the small child to Ja'far where she did the same exact thing.

"I love you Ja'far!" She told him with a smile. The former assassin hesitated for a moment.

"I love you too, Ada." He smiled, sadly at her. She gave him the biggest smile she could muster, before wiggling free on his grip and darting onto the boat with the other three.

"Bye everyone!" She shouted, waving happily, as the boat began to set sail. She waved until the others disappeared from her sight. 

"Come on, Ada! Let's go check out our room." Alibaba waved her back to the group. The girl nodded happily and ran towards them. This was so exciting! The last time she was on a ship, she was being kidnapped. And the time before that, she was a stowaway. She never had a room!

They opened the door to their cabin.

"Whoooaa." The child was in awe. Aladdin immediately hopped into one of the four hammocks, followed by Morgiana, who sat in the hammock one away from Aladdin.

Ada attempted to climb into the one on the end, next to her pink-haired travel companion. Why was this thing so hard to get into?

Alibaba let out a soft chuckle before picking up Ada and placing her in the material she was trying so desperately to climb into before walking away and sitting in his own.

This was so exciting! 'To Kou!' Ada shouted over and over again in her mind. She had to wonder what the people there would be like. Will she meet someone new?

Back at Sindria, the girl's father and best friend watched as the ship sailed off to sea. They were going to miss her a lot and probably worry over her every minute she was gone. Ada had only been there a short time, but she was definitely already part of the family.
