One big, brown eye, curiously stared up at Ada as the girl wandered though the town. Her head whipped back to stare at her new stalker.

Golden eyes lit up as she saw a black, one eyed puppy looking back at her. Ada dropped to her knees and reached out to pet the puppy. One big brown eye watched her wearily as her hand reached for it's head.

Her small hand gently smoothed down the puppy's soft hair. A happy bark left the puppy's mouth and a giggle left Ada's. Small paws pounced on the child, effectively knocking the girl over. A wet tongue attacked Ada's face as she furiously laughed.

Ja'far watched with slight irritation. Ada would definitely be needing a bath when she got home... Though he could admit he enjoyed seeing Ada so happy.

After a few moments, Ada was able to push the, surprisingly strong, puppy off of her. She was a mess...she let out a sigh and sent a playful glare to the puppy. She guessed it was time to head home and bathe.

As she started to walk, she heard soft footsteps behind her. She abruptly stoped and looked behind her to see the puppy stop and look back up to her. The girl took another step forward and watched as the little black dog did the same.

At that moment, the princess decided she wanted to keep the adorable one-eyed pup.

Ja'far already knew what Ada was planning. And of course he knew Sinbad would happily agree, and if not, Pisti would convince him.

Ada strode up to the palace gates where Ja'far was already waiting for her.

"Did you have fun?" Ja'far questioned. Ada gave a guilty smile and slight nod. The man in front of her sighed and stepped aside, letting her back into the palace. He glanced at the dirty puppy following her and sighed.

Ada ran through the halls, until she eventually found her father, who was still searching for her.

"Daddy!" She yelled. Sinbad excitedly turned to face her. Relief  washed over him as he saw his daughter and before she knew it, Sinbad had scooped up the child. As Ada giggled, the king noticed the puppy behind her, staring up at them with its single eye.

"And who's this?" Sinbad questioned, setting the child down to look at the little, black, furball who happily barked at him. The king let out a hardy laugh.

"We should keep her!" Sinbad announced before Ada even had to a ask. Ada smiled happily. "What should we name her?" Sinbad asked his daughter. Ada pondered this for a moment before exclaiming her answer.

"FawDa!" Ada happily answered.

Author's notes:
I don't usually like to put A/Ns in the chapters, but this time I will. The puppy in the picture is mine and the one that the puppy in the story is based off of. The name "FawDa" (I may be wrong I only googled it) is Arabic for Chaos, which is a play off of my puppy's name, "Calypso".
