Chapter 21

"Take me" James spoke up

"What" I am shocked he of all people said that

"You angels if you can hear me take me" he shouted "this is my fault" he said to us. "So take me, leave Jessica's mind, release El and take me"

"No James you will never be able to see your family or friends again" El yelled

"I don't have family, and for friends well I have none because I am person no one wants to be with" James proclaimed

"We are your friends" Fred spoke up keeping his eyes wide and on the angel "sure we have only known you for a few years but you are still our friend"

"Thanks, but this is still my fault. I will let you take me, just let the others free" he yelled

"On three everyone close your eyes for five seconds. By then they will have me and you all will be safe" James said.

"One"

"El" I spoke

"Two"

"I know I barley know you"

"Three" I closed my eyes,

"One" Melissa

"El" no answer

"El please answer" I yelled

"Four, five" suddenly I opened my eyes and El was lying on the ground unconscious.

"Jessica is fine" Fred yelled "the angels have gone as well, with James"

"El" I cried holding her. More memories flashed through my mind as I held her not he ground which only made me cry more. A tear dripped down my face and landed on her. Slowly her eyes fluttered open.

"Jack" she moaned "the angel made me pass out when she dropped me"

"You are safe now" I kissed her forehead

"Buddy do your thing" El spoke, within a few seconds we were in the TARDIS speeding through the time vortex we landed in some town. "The angels will feed off of him, we can't save him. I am sorry"

"This is your stop" El spoke "outside is your home" that is when I realized I was still holding her, but I liked it.

Once everyone walked out I put El down and she almost fell over again.

"I will take you to our room" I said

"What did you just say" she smiled

"I said I will take you to our room" I smirked when I realized I remembered we shared one room, and all our wonderful nights.

"El I remember a bit more, but not everything" I said as I laid her in the bed.

"I know" she said "but it is okay" I began to walk out of the room when she spoke up.

"No, no. If you can remember we shared a room, and some of or days together I want you to stay" she patted the bed next to her and I laid down next to her. She laid her head on my chest and I wrapped an arm around her holding her close.

"I love you Captain Jack" she whispered as she fell asleep

"I love you too my time lady" I said and soon I too fell asleep.
