Chapter 5

When morning came I was next to the most amazing girl I have ever met, and last night was just.. Wow.

El what is it about her that makes me feel different, what is it that draws me too her. Why is it that I have not wanted any one more than I want her.

I look over and her eyes slowly flutter open

"Hi Jack" she smiles. Then she faces the door and her smile drops

"Ya hi Jack" Kurt and some other guy say at the same time.

"Jack if you plan on hurting her ever, tell me now. Because I have a gun" Kurt tried to threaten

"I would never hurt her" I said

"Ya right" the guy who I don't know spoke up

"You don't know me" I said

"Yes I do, you just don't know me yet" he said

"Mickey, Kurt get out of my room" El screamed, their eyes bulged and they left closing the door behind them.

"Time travel, leaves surprises" I said and smiled at El. She was blushing, which made her even harder to resist.

"So I have to get ready for work" she said and got out of bed showing off her beautiful body.

"What will you do with me then" I asked

"Well I will see you tonight, at the movies" she said and walked into the bathroom. I heard the shower turn on and she came out in only a towel.

"That look suits you"

"What look I am only wearing a towel"

"Exactly" I wink.

After she gets dressed and leaves the room I zap to my ship for a second to get a new pair of clothes and zap back down, time agency has its perks. I take of my Vortex manipulator and take a shower, then put it back on. Suddenly it flashes red. Great a mission..

I press the button and it tells me that there is a problem where I am.

It read 'Jack the rift is opening and time is fracturing through. This is bad and must be stopped. Find a way to fix it and then you can still have your little vacation time.'

Great they know where I am and rift opening not good.. Wait so that is what flashed me here, I guess I should probably try to stop it. But first I have to say good bye to El for now.

I go downstairs to see Kurt, Mickey, Faith, a woman wearing a name tag that says Samantha, and El.

"El I have to go to work" I said to her

"Okay" she said worried "will I be able to see you again"

"Ya, and I am not just saying that I mean it" I said and went up to her, I kissed her on the cheek and walked out the door.

"Beep beep" my vortex manipulator went off.

"What is it" I asked and opened it to see the screen.

"The police station will help"

"When do cops ever help" cops not my kind of people.

I walk through town and ask people about people dressed in different era clothing, many pointed me toward the hospital. So that is where I am going to go.

As I approach I see people walking around and frantic, however they all wore what people were wearing around the Salem witch trials. Well how are they reacting to technology.

"You dear kind sir is this women a witch, she clams to be talking to someone on a far off land. Through this" the man who looked like a pilgrim held a woman around her 20s. She seemed desperately scared and the man holding a knife to her was not helping.
