Chapter 3

New Day

Alicia woke up on her own, a groan escaped her. She was one of those people who once they woke up, there was no going back to sleep. She tugged the blanket off of herself and rolled out of bed. Landing gracefully on her feet. She was glad to her reflection in the mirror. Her blonde locks looked messy, but in a good way. She combed her fingers through her bangs a few times, and then strode out into the hallway. She heard Harry's loud snores, signaling that he was still asleep. Alicia smiled slightly, and continued into the living room.

Harry had one arm slung over his head and the other hanging off the couch. His legs tucked up on the couch. The blanket tangle in his long limbs. She advanced towards him, and sat onto the coffee table. Her small hand brushed some of his curls off his forehead. She carassed his cheek softly, just trying to wake him up. "Harry, wake up. Harry..." She said softly.

Harry heard his name being called out, almost like a song. He knew the voice, it was the love of his life. He opened his eyes and couldn't believe what he was seeing. His angel, his one and only desire, that close to him. Her warm fingertips gently sliding across his skin. He smiled uncontrollably, dimples and all. "Good morning, love." He greeted her.

Alicia removed her hand from his smooth face, but not before stroking over his unbelievably sharp jawline once. His voice sounded so gravelly and deep, it made her shiver. She blinked a few times before answering, "Good morning, I promise tonight I'll take the couch." She told him, feeling guilty. "No, no, I want you to be comfortable. I'm just fine here." Harry promised her. He couldn't get his mind off the simple fact though that she was wanting to spend another night with him. He had planned for this, but actually living it out was making him so ecstatic.

"I'm apprehensive about being alone, will you please just take me to my apartment and let me just grab some clothes for work and some for tonight as well." She suggested. "Work? What, do you mean work?" Harry stuttered not wanting her to slip out of his grasp. Alicia nodded her head, blonde ringlets bouncing slightly. "I have to pull a shift today, but if its alright with you tonight I'll stay here?"

Harry was thrilled by her desire to stay with him, but was hurt by the thought of her going away. Being out on her own accord, where he was no longer holding the reins. "O-Okay. Let's go I'll drive you there to pick the clothes. " He said and took her hand and led her down stairs in just that t-shirt and hastily out to his car. Ushering her inside in a gentlemanly manner.

Once they arrived at Alicia's apartment, and went inside. Everything aroused him. Everything belonged to her. The scent, the decor, the slight clutter strewn around the homily cozy apartment. He shoved his hands deeply into to his pockets, trying to remain cool and collected. Just this essence of her was driving him absolutely mad.

Alicia left him standing in the living room, while she went and packed away some of her clothes and changed into her scrubs. She knew she had, yet another long day ahead of on the tramua floor. Everything was so fast paced there and kept her in shape and agile.

Harry couldn't contain himself any longer when she had left him alone in there to do as he pleased. He grabbed a bunch of her picture frames and quickly slipped the pictures out. They were all happy smiley pictures of her and some with Drew in it. He shoved them all into his coat pocket and zipped the pocket shut. He planned to cut that filthy 'ex' of hers' out of those pictures.

As if on cue, Alicia emerged with a big duffle bag over her shoulder and her uniform on. She looked stunning as always in Harry's eye, but he was to busy planning to stare at her any longer.

Where would Alicia hide a spare key? Having been stalking her for such a long time he knew the answer immediately, Under her welcome mat. He had now formed up the perfect idea.

"Come on, love. Don't want you to be late for work." He said with a bright smile, forcing it but still managing to make it look genuine. Alicia took Harry's large hand and held onto it tightly. He blinked rapidly even at her small actions and then refocused himself.

He had to keep his head in the game.

When he shut the door behind them he intentions tripped over the welcome mat, and threw himself to the ground. Alicia looked at him wide eyed, and leant down near his face to make sure he was alright. He took advantage of this moment and grabbed her key; that was now visible since he had kicked the mat off of it. Quickly he deposited it into his front pocket and smiled. "Y-yeah sorry. How silly of me? Slipping over my own feet." Harry said and rose back to his feet.

He had finally gotten Davis dropped off for her day at work and he was left to break back in. He sat in his car in the parking lot of the hospital, rolling the golden key around in the palm of his hand. "Mhm, what to do? What to do? I need to go back there." He said, finally giving in to the impulse. He started up the car and took off.
